I've noticed a lack of Medicine Cat games for WC on the site, so I decided to make one.

How do you think I'm doing, with the game AND the advanced editor?

... Why does every WC fan seem to think there aren't any medicine cat games here? I've seen multiple ones... then again, most of the WC games that have been on this site have been deleted.

Oh, because when I search it up, there aren't any storygames that center around being a medicine cat.

I know there are more, but ^ right there is from me just scanning the game titles.

And then there's this piece of work: http://chooseyourstory.com/story/medicine-bunny

But hey, if you can make a good one, more power to you.

Well, I don't really thinkt he Medicine Bunny really qualifies. Anyway, I think the search bar is skipping some results because I've searched exact titles before to no avail. I think maybe it only uses keywords in the desc. or something.

Anyway, I'm hoping mine'll be good since it's easier to keep track of things that you use (the medicines) because I'm using the advanced editor and slowly understanding how it works.

Fair enough.

... I can't say I remember the medicine ever being a big feature.

Just click this to get to the game.

As for the storygame itself, it seems much better than the other medicine cat games. For one, you can actually experience the life of a medicine cat, as well as collect the herbs yourself. You also need to use your own knowledge of herbs to heal cats, rather than this:

"(Insert problem here)!" she meows.

It's most definitely (insert herb here), you think.

When you say that, do you mean that's what I'm doing or that's what I'm not doing?

It's what you're not doing. Other med. cat games tell you what you need to find, but this one gives you hints. And that's good- it feels like you give no effort when playing the game and knowing what herb you need to pick up because the text told you the exact herb.

Oh, okay. I did that in some cases actually but only in the beginning, to mix in the fact that Cherrypaw is learning.

I tried to make it a bit more unique, adding a few made-up herbs, to mix in with the plot. Is it cheesy now or...?
