So Mardox and I are getting tripped up into our story, so we need a little help from someone willing to help write this inspiring novel! If you didn't know, The End of Humanity is a post-apocalyptic animal perspective thriller complete with tragedy, humor, and happy endings...or so you think.
The End of Humanity is about a young Chihuahua owned by Dennis and Laurel Fisher, and the happy trio currently live in Australia. Their residence is in a beach house by the sea. Dennis and the dog, named Sable, have a strong bond with each other, mainly consisting of pranks and family fun.
But one day, Sable is told by Dennis, or Denny, that Denny and Laurel were going to the mall to shop. Sable acknowledges their trip and calmly awaits their return. But when they don't, Sable is calm and rations the toilet water and the occasional food scrap lying out on the floor. Three days pass, and Sable breaks down. He panics.
Sable escapes through the doggy door to the backyard and squeezes under the fence to reveal the dark, grey, and twisted world Earth has become. Only the sound of dogs rings in the air, and not even the ocean looks blue anymore. To Sable's horror, bodies lay strewn on the sand and in the streets, cars abandoned and no movement...And Sable is thrown off gaurd when he finds Denny and Laurel in the fetal position, eyes glassy, dead in the abandoned mall.
Sable howls his loss to the world, and other dogs take it was a signal to escape. The dogs finds themselves suddenly thrusted into saving the world by themselves, a group of thirty or so dogs trying to save humankind. They decide Sable is to be their leader, and Sable is a bit confused as to what is going on, but one thing is clear to him: saving Denny.
I wrote a little storyboard for this, which you will read once you decide to help us in our quest. Thank you for reading this post, and I hope someone will help us achieve our goals.
