I am writing a game for the school game contest, and I am wandering, should I (if I end up using any) use anime pictures, or real pictures? I can't seem to find enough pros/cons to decide against any.

P.D.: The game is not sci-fi or fantasy, although it involves some rather odd situations, pretty much like magic realism.

Some like anime-styled, some don't.

It's your call.

I prefer anime, and if you've ever played my games, you'd see my character is anime. However, pictures in general? Usually real or close to real.

I have images turned off by default, so if they are necessary to understanding or completing the story/game you should mention it in the description.  Otherwise, I have no opinion.

I'm not overly fond of anime-styled pictures unless it's particularly distinctive, like the princess monoke guy's stuff. Then again, I'm not overly fond of School-based stories, so I probably won't count more points against it than I already have.
