My name, Cromwell. My design, anything I desire. I am currently in the process of bouncing back and forth from a cyberpunk series and else-stories( not apart of my Cyber-verse) dealing in hyper-stylized ideas, sci-fi, and the gritty horror game. Because... why not?

The social unrest in the city of Sebinter has been the main thought in everyone's mind as they carry on in the five Districts. The Military presence on the moon of Neboria, fighting the colonists, continues as it has been for years. With each passing day, the situation worsens and the slowly disintegrating morals cause more and more violence in the people. The Korr promises peace, and the politics are never getting to that goal. The group known as the Nightingales continues to fight against the Korr Federation. The fires and the destruction continue to drive people into the slums. There are no heroes, no saviors, no religion. The blood sweat, tears, and strength of man alone in this age are the only things able to bring about the peace in this chaotic, dangerous, strange world. This age of technology. This time of crisis.

Terminal 404: Demo Version on 9/26/2021 11:03:42 PMQuite noted, and I shall rectify the combat system, seeing your point clearly. Regarding dialogue, I will take your advice. Much of the terms used are explained, and the puzzle element shall be present. Ah yes, the final matter of the link... I'll see what I can do. I do appreciate constructive criticism, so thank you.

This is a game I thought of whilst on a vacation, and it haunted me until I could get back to the site. Having copied most of it from my scribbles, notes and drawings, I present, a demo version, pending feedback to see if the audience would care to see the final product. Enjoy.

Hover your mouse over the play length spot in the main page of your game. Example...
Play Length ?/8
"Unknown"
You wanna hover the mouse over the question mark and the eight. It will tell you how many words are altogether in the game.

Thank you Mizal and Ford. As always, your helpful tips allow me and many others to continue on in the desperate mad rush of creativity without having to worry about the odd quirks of a system.
Length of a Storygame. on 6/1/2021 11:12:06 PM
So, to kick this off, I was wondering to myself, "How do I know when a story is a certain length or not?" Is it based upon the amount of words I use, the amount of links, and chapters overall, or is it simply a combination of both? I greatly appreciate the answers for this, and I KNOW that any new people on this site having the same question appreciate it too.
Good Night and Good Day on 5/23/2021 11:37:08 PM
Oh, this Cyberpunk game is going to be something I personally have never done before. I have always been fascinated by the genre, but never actually tried composing my own until now. With each element, and spark of an idea, I am enamored with the possibilities by it, and I believe that a game, in whatever fashion should be immersive. I try to describe what is necessary for the game to paint a simple, yet vivid art piece. I owe this to the memories of Zork, and other type based games on the Commodore 64 and DOSBOX. How I ramble...
In short, This contest entry will be my first game on here published, and I intend to make it something beautiful...
