The Lord of Commas
My goals I set in 2014 were finally met after a decade of hard work and mountains of bullshit. I got a trophy (several now), a commendation (several now) from my favorite author, and a story game rated at least a six.
My new goals?
-Win my own personal trophy
-Win a contest
-Read and rate 100% of the story games here (preferably before a couple of people I immensely dislike manage to do so)
"Ben's life as far as I can tell has been one of turmoil and strife. He's been mocked, embarrassed by his baby mama who then eventually left him for a tranny. And he had some other issues after that.
But it's all been leading up to this moment. I myself shall usher him into the Gates of CYStia where he shall be Eternal. Awaited and Blessed." -EndMaster
"It's probably the most depraved thing I've read. And no, that's not a compliment." -Mystic, reviewing my story 'Terrorist'
"Don't forget the lighter! ^_^" -Avery_Moore
"Ben gonna Ben" -EndMaster
"You are a disgrace upon civilization and what it means to be human" -TCat
"Shh" -Fresh
"Ben, respectfully, you are an idiot." -Petros
"I'm just saying Ben is awesome!" -RKrallonor

Storygames
In this story inspired by Watership Down, you play as Hops, a average, run-of-the-mill rabbit forced to flee with the other furry woodland creatures as the Titans destroy your home.
Entry for Sherbet's Summer's End Synergy Contest.
A short horror story where you're hazed on Halloween night. While others are trick-or-treating, you're involved in a fight for your life.
Entry for EndMaster's 2024 prompt contest.
Story prompt: A game revolving around carrying out a terrorist attack. There's actually several within this game, the method and motivations varying depending on your playthrough.
Warning: this story, while not explicit in accordance with site rules, does have sections involving murder, SA, incest, bestiality, racial undertones, and societal class discrimination. Essentially you're playing as a sick fuck who's also rich. Also keep in mind that while your protagonist can complete their objectives depending on how you play, there is no 'happy ending,' per se.

In other news, I would love to buy an EndMaster shirt and have never gotten any information on that despite asking.

Question: what happens when we complete a review that's not on the assigned list? I'm still gonna get orange's storygame before St. Patty's Day but I took a break from writing my contest entry to do a quick review of SU's new Dino game for the contest.

Prompt Contest 5 Progress discussion on 3/4/2026 1:07:13 AM
Well I have about 3,500 words written. Like usual I started my entry and then got lazy for the middle of the contest. Still, I hope to have something passable by the time the deadline hits.

I mean, it's still a better story than Twilight. And when I say relationship between Louis and Lestat, I don't mean romantically or homosexual. Although considering the two that Louis and Lestat actually are attracted to, I kinda wish they were just to avoid those particular arcs.

Interview with the Vampire by Anne Rice.
Its' description of setting and 19th century culture is so detailed and historically accurate there's actually a fan theory that Anne herself is a vampire who lived in those times. It also brings up several interesting points about mortality, and the conflict between Lestat and Louis is engaging, yet believable and a good example of a toxic relationship. The interaction between Louis and Claudia is... well. A bit disturbing, even for me. But overall well worth the read.
I actually prefer the sequel, The Vampire Lestat. But you gotta start with the original to fully appreciate the sequel.
Do you read your own story-games? on 3/2/2026 2:24:30 PM
I do, but not until a few years have passed and I've mostly forgot about it. Personally, I like seeing how my writing has improved, if there's anything I did in my older stories that I could do better now (and therefore apply to my next story). I may end up editing Terrorist and Fleeing the Forest one day to add an extra branch or path, but that's honestly a secondary concern to finishing my WIPs.
Halloween Fright, however. That was cringy. The voiceover that coyote guy did made it cringier, cause now I hear it in the voiceover when I go through it. I keep it around only as a reminder that despite never winning a contest so far, or a ThunderDome match, or... well anything on this site, I've come a long way, and my writing reflects that.

Yes, please. I do believe it goes on your waiting list only if you have three active review requests. Since you only have one on there, it would go on your active review list, which would make the deadline March 30, 2026. Best of luck with your projects!
