As quick note on sharing work: you really, really, really need to have thick skin if you're going to share your writing anywhere, much less on an anonymous Internet site. You need to realize that no matter what you write, SOMEONE is going to hate it and complain about it. It really doesn't matter how good it is, someone will hate it. Of course, odds are that someone else will really like it, too! So feel free to start sharing shorts bits in the writing forum if you like. Ask for feedback if you really want it, but understand it isn't going to be all good (but some probably will be).
