I found this site while trying to find CYOAs online and I am super glad I did. This has been one of the coolest communities I've been a part of (including the SCP wiki). One of my favorite things to do here is read through the old forums and taste all the salt that can be found there. The games on here are obviously made with passion for the art form, and that is something I can always respect. Hopefully I will kick myself hard enough oneday to make my own simple game, but until then I'll keep enjoying this site to the fullest!

I got a vaccine! on 4/7/2021 10:22:50 AMWhich vaccine did you get? I am about to get the second shot of Moderna and my bud got really sick for a few days after getting his second shot. I'm not really worried about it because if I get sick, I get sick, and if I don't then great. I do think it is important for people to get the vaccine, but I also think that everyone should talk to their doctor on the risks that each vaccine could have. Because anything medical could effect each person differently enough to cause some kind of concerns, and if they don't feel 100% about the vaccine then that is their decision that they can make with their doctor.

I have been getting a little bored with the typical shooters on steam, and have been looking for some that are more on the weird side. Does anyone have a recommendation for something like this? It would be much appreciated!!
P.S. I have already played E.Y.E Divine Cybermancy and was kind of into it for a bit, but ultimately lost intrest.
Any Sci-Fi books with "realistic" aliens in them? on 3/11/2021 1:52:28 PM
I know this post is pretty old, but I just saw it and have a great book or you. Its titled "Brigador" by Brad Buckmaster. The story takes place on a sci-fi world that is controlled by an isoationist government. Because of this, the technology is growing old and unreliable, and the people are poor and tired of the the way they live. It follows a squadron of mech pilots who are tasked with investagating a checkpoint that has been attacked. While they are heading towards the site, one of their commrads, who is an extreamly skilled pilot, goes rogue when a revolution begins. Thats all I am going to say about the plot because that's just the beginning and it is really worth a read.
P.S. The "aliens" are hostile offworld pilots in mechs that are a lot more advanced than the MC's, and the fight scenes are awesome! I hope you check it out and enjoy it.
