I'm a 27 year old from Dayton, Ohio.
My creativity doesn't only point me in the storygame area, but also into the music world. I make underground hiphop with my friends. We have never done any shows or put out anything for purchase. Ususally just free downloads online.
My fiancee and I have a combined 3 kids. Besides helping her take care of them, I work a full time job. With what little free time I have I like to try to add on to my storygame(s), play on xbox live (gamer tag is xi 2 slow ix btw), and watch my shows. I would try naming the shows off for you, but my dvr is busy every night ;)
Any questions, just ask. I'm a pretty easy person to get along with and have no problem talking to people. Just as long as you aren't a complete douchebag :)
Storygames
You've prepared for this trip for a long time. The day has finally come and you leave for Atlanta. During your trip, something goes horribly wrong. Now you're stranded and in terrible danger.
When you have nobody left but yourself, and every decision you make will determine whether you live or die, will you be able to make it out alive?
NOT a story game, this is just me playing around and messing with the editor to learn what I'm doing.

Yet another editor question, This one about Items on 5/23/2013 10:18:58 AM
Wow, before posting this I noticed that the first 2 posts in here were originated by me.
Well, here's number 3 lol.
Is there any way to "combine" items? I am adding an item into my story that can be mixed with other items, and I was wondering if there was a way to do it without needing to create a million other pages to do so.

I'm working on my story now, and was wondering if anybody wanted to take a look at it to sort of tell me if I'm doing alright so far with it. I think I am, but I'm not the one who's going to be playing it lol.
Anyway, if anybody wants to take a peek at it and give me some advice on where I'm going with it, let me know. I only want to show a small number of people before it gets finished.
Also, keep in mind, I'm nowhere close to the end.
Reason No 8 for Maturity Rating on 5/21/2013 1:37:01 PM
I guess that all makes sense. It's just rather unfortunate that there has to be limits on how far we can go with certain things.
I don't have any plans for anything extremely graphic as of yet, but I know that there are going to be branches that lead to events that could possibly push the rating. Fortunately for me though, I'm not that great at writing out sex scenes, so I won't really have to worry about crossing the line in it.
I'm sure I will have a few graphically violent scenes, but I know I've seen some pretty gruesome stuff in R rated movies. So there's no issues there either.
I can't say that I think the "family friendly" rating scale is necessarily a bad thing, unless your whole concept depends on being able to write out all of the explicit material to its full graphic nature. But I guess that's why if you really need to write that way you should try to find one of the other sites with no limits.
Question about in-game journals on 5/19/2013 10:55:45 PM
yeah, i figured the second one would be either impossible or EXTREMELY complicated. thats unfortunate because that has potential to be awesome.
and i guess the notepad idea does make a lot of sense.
good thing this doesn't effect my plans at all, just a random question for future reference
Thanks for the reply Aman
Question about in-game journals on 5/19/2013 9:06:42 PM
I was reading a little bit on this topic in the "Help & Info" section, but as I've mentioned before I don't have that great of an attention span. My patience is even worse lol.
Anyway, the question I have is: Is there a way to create a journal that the player can actually type what they want in it? I think that would be pretty cool. That or even like I've heard about in a video game my friend played, the player was able to put messages in the dirt or on walls in certain areas and a random one would show up for future players.
If there is a way to do either one of those, could somebody please fill me in. If not, I think this should definitely go into the Wishing Well.
