I am a very new person to this website, but I'm honestly very excited to use it!
I'm mainly a fantasy / sci-fi writer, but I'm open to all comments and questions. I hope that I can help other people with their own story games as I progress in them myself.
Have an absolutely fantastic day!
Storygames
High spirits in high school.
Seems like a good mix, doesn't it?
Not if you're the Watcher.
As if dealing with bullies and gangs isn't bad enough, you also have been given the task of keeping an eye over the spirits that inhabit this realm.
Doing so will make you an outcast, a phariah, a freak.
Abandoning your duties will cause the spirits to rise against you and manifest in this realm, breaking loose and disrupting the natural order.
The choice is yours.
Computers. Arguably one of the greatest advancements of man in recorded history.
In the year 2026, attempting to form a self-thinking computer, a scientist creates a computer program that has been set to self-delete in one year.
You are his lab assistant.
Can you read through the code and decipher what the computer is trying to say?
The world has always been balanced.
One way or the other, when the scales tip, the balance has been restored.
And now you are a part of it.
Take up your powers. Use them to bring back the balance.
By any means necessary.
A fun little story game, very linear, and with not a lot of story. I made this simply to get a better grasp of how to create a story game before I (hopefully) begin on a larger project (or two or five or.....yeah).
Anyways, I hope everyone enjoys it!
Your family has been cursed. Your grandfather was the first. Then it was your father.
And now it is you.
Will you use this power for good?
Or will you use it to terrorize those that stand before you?

Yeah, that's a good idea! That would go really well with the character that I'm writing!

It really does help to think of it that way, thank you!

.....Now that you mention it, I didn't notice that. Whoopsies.
I'll put that down as a mistake brought on by fatigue.
Would you like a description thus far?

I'm writing a storygame for a specific person (they asked me to; they think I'm a good writer, for some reason), and I'm having trouble making one character seem scary. And the story kinda requires them to be a little scary.
....Help?
