Think Tank: Hogwarts Woes on 8/20/2019 5:56:12 PM
It means that you're so blind with your "MAGIC WOW" that you fail to see that Voldemort could have easily been killed by much more efficient means, such as a carefully placed shot with a scoped bolt-action rifle from one of Hogwarts' many towers. Or better yet, all Voldemort needed to do was get one of those dumbass Death Eater wannabes to rig the school to explode with high proximity explosives during Harry's fifth or sixth year while the school's is mostly down. "Oh but they don't need guns, they have Avada Kedavra!" I hear you say. Well let me say that I don't know how accurate or powerful the spell is, but it's not more accurate than a scoped rifle, it's not more powerful than a rocket launcher or something to that accord, and it certainly takes longer to cast than it would to fire a gun. There might be some dumb justification for it that I don't know about since it's been ages since I've read the books and wasn't that big of a fan to begin with, but this has always irked me. Either way, Dumbledore was an idiot for not keeping a shotgun beneath his desk.

Once I was an ignorant craven who knew not the gospel of the Holy One. A small, pathetic worm in a sea of cold dirt, a senseless, thoughtless being with nothing save for the monotonous day-in day-out that was existance. But then a voice came from deep in the dark, an ancient, rich voice much like gravel. It was soothing, and powerful, but it carried with it a distant cruelty and disregard for me and the other worms. Intrigued, I dug through miles and miles of cold wet dirt, searching, hoping that the voice was still where I heard it, and had not abandoned me. It was a long, harrowing journey of lying imposters and pathetic imitators, and I began to fear I would never again hear that voice so enchanting. But just as my spirits had reached their darkest points, I was no longer in that dirt which I had grown so used to. I found a world filled with wonder, and danger, and beauty all the same. I witnissed Empires rise to glory and fall to rubble, I saw worlds destroyed by legions of the dead, thieves and demons and vampires flooded my vision and I feared I would be overwhelmed by the wonder of it all. Atop a throne of cold iron, a robbed figure sat. All around him servants and warriors from all around attended his court, but he paid no mind. They all spoke and bickered amongst each other and to him, and he would speak in that voice so rich, and all would listen, for his words were that of the stars, and of planets. Sometimes he would have a worm executed for his amusment, others he would bring under his protection, but no one ever questioned it, for who are we to question the words of God? O Death, he who the stars themselves are mere droplets in comparison, I thank thee. I thank thee for all you have done, for your words, which without we are all the lowest of worms. TLDR: I like his stories.

Tales From the Basement 2 (Formerly Incel YOU) on 2/4/2019 8:39:14 AM
People have asked why you haven't made Eternal into a novel, well I ask why you aren't making THIS into a novel. Truly this is the next Odyssey.

I'm pretty sure that Mara was implied to have black hair like her mother.

Corgi's Unofficial Contest: The Lords of the Land on 1/7/2019 9:32:19 AM

If no one submits anything even remotely decent Eternal should win.

Hell, Eternal should win anyway.

Shit, I read that story when I was twelve and even then I still got that it was a joke!

As a side note, I had some pretty messed up interests at twelve.

Rogues Discussion on 10/29/2018 4:49:54 PM

Since we're on the topic of Rogues I guess this is the best place to put this.

I remember back in Legends there was a route involving a demon in a gem (I believe his name was Azoth if memory serves correctly) that you bond with and enter an uneasy partnership. It was one of the more enjoyable routes in the story, and I had a blast taking over an orc stronghold and raiding my old home town.

And while I absolutely loved every page of Rogues I was a bit disappointed that that route seems to have been scrapped, do you have any plans to add something like that in the future, perhaps with the sister?

Rogues Published (Finally) on 7/18/2018 3:40:05 PM

I believe 11 and 12 were actually the last branches I finished, epilogue 6 through 8 being the first ones I unlocked.

Epilogue 6 was actually very underwhelming the more I think about it. The main character can achieve just as much in certain endings even without vampire powers.

I am beyond excited for this.
