Huh, it appears I have a new vic--I mean guest! Welcome, serah, to the Domain of Rin_of_Water! Here you'll find anything from romance to fantasy to sci-fi, and anything else in between. What's that? You want to get to know the Mistess of the Lair? Well, here I go...
I have a passion for a few specific things, and tend to tunnel-vision on them. They include singing, writing, drawing, reading, playing piano, playing video games, composing, and making a beeline to the nearest secluded corner in a busy crowd.
I work off of logic and reason, and believe in few things without proof. I believe that everyone has the right to live their lives the way they want, as long as they don't expect the universe to hand them everything on a silver platter. I'm hopelessly romantic and believe that everyone has true love waiting for them (though I don't think I'll find mine anytime soon! 0.0)
And, above all, I believe in having fun, because life is too short to take it seriously. Live in the now while you can, let the past rest, and let the future stay hidden until it's the present.
You can also find me on FanFiction.net and FictionPress.com under Rinku-Chan 333
(Also...I'm not real sure who gets credit for the profile pic, I just think that auroras are cool.)

Requiem of the Lonely
I'm pining away for a guy that doesn't even know my name.
A guy that I'd never have a chance at...
But, it's fun to pretend, isn't it?
If only I could make it a reality...
Inspired off of my own feelings, but how I wish things could actually go.
Of course, this is still taking into consideration that there are multiple paths for that happy ending, and too many slip-ups can send it all spiraling over the edge...permanently.
This is my first real Choose Your Own Adventure, so consider that if rating/commenting.
Um, it's gonna kind of start out slow, but it'll make more sense as we go along (I hope...)
*Note that any resemblance to real life people is strictly coincidental...

Your religion (or lack of) ? on 2/9/2014 7:54:27 PMI'm pretty much an atheist, myself. I've never been big on taking things by faith alone, and I don't agree with some of the moral standings on most of the religions. I'd rather not get into which ones, because I'm weary about starting a fight over it, but there it is.
In short, I believe that I don't need a book to tell me what's right or wrong.
On the other hand, some of the prettiest songs I've sung in chorus were religious, so there are kudos for that l.o
I...should probably shut up, now...
Would you live forever? on 4/24/2013 6:16:55 PM
I would not want to live forever.
My answer is simple; I'd get bored. If you look at history, it repeats itself. War, peace, equality movements, etc. It's like watching the same re-runs of a show; appealing the first couple of times, but once you know exactly what's going to happen when and how, you lose interest. Hell, if you look through media, it's the same stories and messages with different names. Assassin's Creed's storyline is actually comparable to the fantasy saga Sword of Truth, and in music, it's all practically the same theme.
I'd love to live long enough to see if the creators of Mass Effect correctly predicted the future, but beyond that...no.
Minecraft! on 4/11/2013 4:14:27 PM
Yes, Minecraft is one of my favorite games. I don't think that I'll ever be a great builder on it, but whatev. Still a fun way to kill time.
A Cause-and-Effect Option in the Basic Editor...? on 4/11/2013 4:11:43 PM
Heh...still, though, ther is no way to delete forum posts, is there...? Hey, maybe I should suggest that, instead!
A Cause-and-Effect Option in the Basic Editor...? on 4/10/2013 3:23:51 PM
I...suppose my biggest problem is intimidation (?) and oh I'll just take post off now because I feel totally stupid and embarrased to have to ask
A Cause-and-Effect Option in the Basic Editor...? on 4/9/2013 4:17:13 PM
So, first of all, I'm a total noob and I haven't even touched the advanced editor yet. I haven't even published a story yet. HOWEVER, I am working on my first one in the basic editor. While working on it I thought, "Wow, this sure is repetitive," due to the kind of game I was making. Then I thought, "Well...all I'd need is some kind of cause/effect thing to clean up my game!"
The stories of this game are kind of like looking at a 2-d double helix; the branches split apart, then come back together, over and over. This makes it to where I have to make two or more copies of certain pages if only to keep separate universes unique. This gets tedious and confusing over time; even just planning the separate branches starts getting confusing.
But, with this cause/effect option, it'd make it to where I could bring the universes back together for a page or two then split them again without any hassle. It wouldn't be difficult to use (at least for me; that's the point of keeping it in the basic editor...). It may look something like this:
If link [insert link here] was chosen previously, then clicking on [insert link here] will take player to [insert link here].
Basically, it means that if a player chose option A at a previous point in the game, clicking on this later link will bring them to a certain screen, as opposed to someone who chose option B, who would get a different screen. I don;t know if it makes any sense, but...well...
Maybe I'm the only one who writes like that, so others wouldn't have any need of this feature, but...well, I don't know. I'm not a site admin, just a geeky girl with ideas...
