When I first joined the site and saw the 'birthday' feature in profile section I thought it was one of those things that sites use for who knows what. It was just recently that I found out about the 'birthday points' feature of the site and cursed myself for not putting in a birth date. I recently did this, but did not get points for the birthday that had already passed, I was asking if possibly you could put a 'birthday lock' to stop people changing their birth date after entering it and then allow points to be given if you enter a birthday only once it has already passed.

You can only get birthday points once a year, even if you change the date to tomorrow - you won't get points twice for changing your birthday more than once in a year.

If you want birthday points, change your birthday to tomorrow - wait until the day after tomorrow, and change it back (or forwards) to whatever day it really is. You won't get points on that day because it's still going to be 2014.

I knew that you couldn't cheat with birthday points (otherwise everyone would have done it already) I was mainly thinking about refund points for if you didn't enter in your birthday when you first entered the site, and the only way that would work is with that 'birthday lock'

Point's are not that important on the site, they only assist with story rating, get you new RPS choices(I think), and can help you get trophies sometimes.

I see no need for this, not everyone wants to share there real birthday anyway.

Exactly my point, I didn't want to share my birthday, and now I miss out.

Jup, and because you didn't want to share your birthday, Cysid didn't want to share points. It's easy enough, right ;) But if you enter your birthday now you'll at least get some points next year.

Btw, why post on all these old threads?

I guess I will still get the points fro now on, but it was mainly for other players sake
