Yeah, I like it because it could be hard for some people to memorize the entire article, including all of the what beats what.
If you had a tool tip, it would be a.... quicker referense of sorts. But then again, you could just have a link to the article on the RPS page. So anyone who needs a quick check up can just click the link, look at the article, and then make there pick.
I think both would work nicely to the same effect.
