Editing after publishing

It's just a mistake. Taking edit option from us after publishing, is just a mistake. You can't fix anything in game without loosing all ratings and comments. For me it's very bad decision. Is there a way to fix it?

Actually, they did alter it a bit, where you get to keep your ratings and comments now, but the play count does still get reset.

You're not supposed to publish a storygame that's a work in progress anyways, so editting one while it's published shouldn't be needed.

You don't LOSE (not loose, not sure why so many people make that mistake) anything as Berka said. If you need to fix your storygame just take it down and make the changes, otherwise you should be having people play test your storygame or check it yourself a lot before releasing.

It's not a mistake, it's something that from a design standpoint makes more sense.
