I was thinking about how to make points on the site more interesting and 'suspenseful' or maybe just playing minecraft, when I thought of having a 'point ladder' with maybe the top 50 on the front page, and others closest to your point level shown on your points section of the my stuff section, just to add a bit of suspense. After all, stories are suspenseful (sometimes), and this site is about stories...

What? You about to make a list, Ford? Make a list of 50, and you'll run out of members at around 30. 

I'm sure he can find enough inactive 1-timer members to put into his list. xD

Maybe, not all of this has to be exact, top 10 or 20 does sound more reasonable, but what about the 'my stuff point ladder' to compare you to other members around your point level...

Yeah... We don't want the MAG point gods ruining the fun of a point ladder. ;-)  

Well, what if it was a most points gained per user the current day. It could encourage users to contribute more. But, it won't include duels because dueling for points is betting not gaining points.

This was worth necro-ing a 6-month old thread? I mean seriously?
