Does anyone know a good way to motivate someone (me) to write a story

Well, self improvement perhaps?

Your highest rated story is currently a 4 and most of the complaints seem to be about broken links and dead ends, so I guess get a story idea in your head that you feel strongly about and focus on completing it and going over it with a fine tooth comb before actually publishing it.

Well, it will motivate you to do something, anyway, and you can write about your experiences... wait, never mind, I don't want to read that...

Honestly it's a bit of a strange area. If you ask many successful writers where they get their ideas or how they write, the answer will often be along the lines of, "There was a story that had to be told, so I told it." In other words, if you don't have a story already, there's nothing to write. Of course, not everyone thinks and works that way.
