Images, images...

I come across many a good character application, and wonder how they get to post pictures like that, just right on the page without links. I cannot do it myself, sadly, so I would like to know. I have already tried the URL and copy/pasting the image, but all that comes up is the link. I suspected the "LINK" symbol would end my curiosities, but sadly, it did not.

Any assistance?

You can see that I included width and height attributes to make the image fit on screen. Pay more attention to the source attribute, though.

It's important your URL leads to the image itself, that it ends with ".jpg", ".png", ".gif", etc. If you're using Google Images, clicking on the "view image" button should bring you to the right URL.

You're not linking directly to the image.

The way I do it, is upload the picture onto the site, open profile and click on the little button to place a picture on the page (which the forum posts lack) and then copy/paste the picture to where you want it, closing the profile window without saving so it doesn't do anything to it.

I wish they'd put that back into forum posts, as well as other things. I miss being able to center my posts with one click...

I just copy and paste when necessary.
