Did anyone see the last Game of Thrones episode?

Hell yeah! I saw all that epicness!

EDIT: I found this part also entertaining:

You took the words right out of my mouth!

Did anyone see the last Game of Thrones episode?

The season needed that episode, it's been so slow until now.

Edit: Best scene of the whole series so far.

What puzzled me that episode is why  Jon's Valyrian Steel sword managed to kill that White Walker?

Did anyone see the last Game of Thrones episode?

I'm pretty sure it's been brought up somewhere before that it just happens to be one of the only things that can kill a white walker alongside dragonglass. The only reason would be, because it can.

Did anyone see the last Game of Thrones episode?

It's hasn't been brought up, up until then it was known that only fire and dragonglass could harm a White Walker...

"The Others have a few known weaknesses that are recorded in ancient texts. One is obsidian, otherwise called dragonglass or "frozen fire". When Samwell Tarly accidentally stabs an Other with an obsidian dagger, its flesh and bones melt away leaving only an icy puddle. Ancient texts also record a weakness to "dragonsteel", which several have taken to be Valyrian steel. Mance Rayder expresses belief that magic wards in the Wall prevent the Others from crossing into the Seven Kingdoms.

After listening to Tormund’s words Jon Snow remembers all the things that Sam had told him, the things he’d found in his old books. He thinks to himself that Longclaw had been forged in the fires of old Valyria, forged in dragonflame and set with spells. Dragonsteel, Sam had called it. Stronger than any common steel, lighter, harder, sharper … But he thinks that words in a book were one thing. He knows that the true test comes in battle." -From awoiaf

So there. I think it's because you only watch the show and don't read the books.

What are your favorite moments?

Favorite GoT moments

King Joffrey's death... that little bitch deserved it.

Favorite GoT moments

Mine is the Red Wedding.

Favorite GoT moments

Really?... Why, may I ask?

Favorite GoT moments

Because Robb Stark and his bitch mother were idiotic oathbreakers.

Favorite GoT moments

Ok... I think we have different prospects of who were the good guys and who were the bad guys

Favorite GoT moments

There are no "good guys" and "bad guys" in Game of Thrones. Robb Stark broke his oath and shat on the Freys.

Favorite GoT moments

Ok then, on who were likable and who were assholes then.

Yes Robb broke a oath, but can you blame him? Did you see the face on Frey's daughter? She's hideous. But his mother didn't deserve to die there.

Favorite GoT moments

Did you even see Roslin Frey?

His mother killed Walder Frey's wife.

Favorite GoT moments

That part is a bit blurry...

Favorite GoT moments

Robb Stark was an idiot anyway. Killing Karstark was the worst thing he could have done, along with sending Theon to the Iron Islands. And not punishing his mother at all when she let Jamie Lannister go. And marrying Talisa. And hell, even not bending the knee to Stannis was stupid.

Favorite GoT moments

While I agree that the rest are tactical shitstorms, the last one isn't so bad. Like Dorne, it's hard to take the north, and the northern lord value their independence, they would've probably rebelled if he bent the knee to Stannis.

Favorite GoT moments

Those are Stannis, Walder Frey and Tywin Lannister, what about it?

Favorite GoT moments

That's Roose Bolton, not Stannis.

Favorite GoT moments

Eh, close enough. Still, too bad he died. If Jon Snow, Danaerys, or the Faceless Assasin die, I'm not watching the show anymore.

Favorite GoT moments

I don't really like Danaerys.

Favorite GoT moments

But you do like the dragons wyverns, right?

Favorite GoT moments

Meh. Dragons ain't got shit on Stannis the Mannis.

Favorite GoT moments

If they get out they will...

Favorite GoT moments

Do you know why the Wall was built?

To protect the White Walkers from Stannis the Mannis.

Favorite GoT moments

Yeah, sure... :P

Favorite GoT moments

That bitch is getting annoying. Don't even get to see her tits anymore.

Favorite GoT moments

Even then, Walder Frey/Tywin (since he was the cause of it) violated guest right, which is one of things in the Game of Thrones universe, you just do NOT break.

Favorite GoT moments

Why? Since the gods made the law up?

In that case, Olenna Tyrell violated guest right when she poisoned Joffrey.

Favorite GoT moments

Yeah, but she was sneaky about it.

Favorite GoT moments

And that makes it better how?

Favorite GoT moments

That she wasn't caught. Nobody knows she did it so they can't blame her.

Favorite GoT moments

Your sense of justice is just as warped as mine.

Favorite GoT moments

So? Is it my fault that I like some characters despite their mistakes? And I didn't say anything about my sense of justice, Cynical did.

Favorite GoT moments

My point is that the Red Wedding was fucking awesome.

Favorite GoT moments

No... it wasn't.

Favorite GoT moments

Yes it was.

Two of the most idiotic people in Westeros got killed.

Favorite GoT moments

Except Joffrey... who was the stupidest idiot ever...

Top ten dumbest characters in Game of Thrones

1. Robb

2. Catelyn

3. Joffrey

4. Cersei

5. Eddard

6. Renly

7. Dany(she's actually in Essos but still)

8. Samwell

9. Edmure

10. Walder

Favorite GoT moments

Where's Jon Snow? He knows nothing.

Favorite GoT moments

At least he stuck to his duty in the end.

Favorite GoT moments

Samwell Tarly actually is quite smart, he killed White Walker and a Thenn. And he's quite smart in the knowledge department as well, so you can't say he's dumb.

Favorite GoT moments

When Sam first fought a White Walker, he...

-was armed with a flaming stick

-KNEW that fire could kill a White Walker

-THROWS THE FLAMING STICK ON THE GROUND

-stumbles on a weapon that can kill White Walkers

-kills the White Walker

-runs away

-LEAVES THE WEAPON ON THE GROUND

Favorite GoT moments

Joffrey should easily be in front of Robb. Robb at least was a capable commander. Joffrey wasn't, was a shit fighter, and was shit in book knowledge.

Favorite GoT moments

At least Joffrey was smart enough to let Tywin win the war for him.

Favorite GoT moments

Who would Robb have to let lead for him, hmm? He was a good military commander on his own. He wasn't that good a political leader, but neverthenless a good military commander, he didn't need the help of anyone else.

Favorite GoT moments

Do you remember the Battle of the Stone Mill?

Favorite GoT moments

I do, do you remember the Battle of Oxcross?

Favorite GoT moments

I do.

Do you remember how the so-called "victory" at the Stone Mill allowed Gregor Clegane to move his army to King's Landing to defend against Stannis's attack?

WHICH BASICALLY LOST THE WAR FOR ROBB!

Favorite GoT moments

How did it lose the war for Robb? He didn't really want to conquer King's Landing, Stannis wanted to. That's not the same.

Ah yes, another battle I have to point out... do you remember this battle?

Favorite GoT moments

If Stannis had won, his forces would have been decimated and he would have been in no state to take the North.

Also, it eliminates the Lannister threat at the same time.

None of those battles mattered after the Stone Mill.

Favorite GoT moments

Yeah, but that wasn't Robb's fault, it was Edmure's fault, he was the one leading the forces, so why are you blaming them on Robb?

Favorite GoT moments

Because he didn't even tell Edmure to not attack. How is Edmure supposed to read his mind?

Favorite GoT moments

So it's his fault for not telling Edmure not to attack? Robb wanted to lure in Gregor so that he could surround and smash his army apart, it was Edmure fault for not realizing the tactical potential of the battle... wasn't Edmure on your top ten dumbest characters list? Why are you defending him all of a sudden?

Favorite GoT moments

That's why I put him there.

I'm not defending him, I'm saying its not entirely his fault.

Favorite GoT moments

Robb's plan was genius, if he attracted Gregor's army then Stannis wouldn't have had to worry about any Lannister reinforcements. While Edmure attacked to prove himself a capable commander, he attacked at Stone Mill to prove that he can win battles as well...

Favorite GoT moments

But Robb didn't tell Edmure about his plan.

Favorite GoT moments

Beacuse he thought Edmure would be smart enough to realize what to do... alas, he wasn't.

Favorite GoT moments

He should have told him anyway.

Favorite GoT moments

Hey, nobody is perfect, Robb wasn't either...

Favorite GoT moments

Robb Stark was so green he pissed grass.

Favorite GoT moments

What the heck is that supposed to mean?

Favorite GoT moments

It means that Robb Stark was decent on the battlefield but a terrible king who couldn't keep his dick in his pants.

Favorite GoT moments

Also, Tywin probably would have wiped out the Freys if they hadn't done what he wanted.

Favorite GoT moments

Would have, if Tyrion hadn't crossbowed his ass while he was on the toilet.

Favorite GoT moments

My point is that the Red Wedding was pragmatically justified, if not morally justified.

Favorite GoT moments

I can't argue with that. It was a tactical shitstorm, but you have to give Robb credit, he did not lose one battle.

Favorite GoT moments

He won every battle, but he lost.

"Robb Stark is dead! And his bitch mother!"

I'm so glad that little cunt died! I hated him the most.

I hated him at the time, but I miss him now. The evil characters make the show so much more interesting.

Favorite GoT moments

Ramsay is probably my favourite character.

Favorite GoT moments

Isn't he supposed to be a psychopath or something? And you know, evil?

Favorite GoT moments

He's the most entertaining. I really don't want him to die. Fuck Sansa... oh wait.

Favorite GoT moments

He's the biggest asshole there, besides Cersei and the now deceased Joffrey.

Favorite GoT moments

That's why I like him so much. He's more evil than Joffrey and can actually back his shit up. Ramsay is the best character in the whole show, every scene involving him is entertaining.

Favorite GoT moments

Tyrion's more funny, though.

Though I guess it would depend on your sense of humor.

Favorite GoT moments

Tyrion is a close second on my favourite characters. I find Ramsay funnier.

Favorite GoT moments

That's dark humor, different than regular humor.

I'm not sure what to say here other that you're the first guy who I've seen liking this guy... I personally want to flay Ramsay's skin, but not before I castrate him...

Favorite GoT moments

I really don't understand the hate towards Ramsay. I mean I get why people hate him, but I'm surprised so many people do. He keeps the show entertaining and he's a badass.

Favorite GoT moments

If castrating and torture are fun to you then like him if you want!

Favorite GoT moments

Why are you so angry about me liking him? It's OK, fam. Chill.

Favorite GoT moments

I wasn't angry at all... I was just a tad surprised.

Favorite GoT moments

He's an entertaining character, and a crazy bastard, but ever since he had blatant plot armour (in the scene where Yara invades the Dreadfort), his character left a bad taste in my mouth.

Favorite GoT moments

Plenty of other characters have had plot armour. Why should Ramsay be any different?

Favorite GoT moments

Because that's one of the worst examples of it, in the entire show, easily. He monologues for literally 15-20 seconds, and Yara and her men just sit then, do nothing, then run away as he opens the door to the dog cage. In that time, they've could've killed Ramsay (who had no actual armour on, at the time). Then, it's Yara plus two of her men versus 2 Dreadfort guards? Who do you think would've won?

Favorite GoT moments

Ramsay, because he's a motherfucking machine!

Favorite GoT moments

He's smart, but he's not physically powerful.

That giant was so badass. I kept thinking he was going to die, and I was sure when he was wading into the water with Wights jumping on him that he's collapse into the water, but he survived and I was so, so happy.

Same here, I was at the edge of my seat towards the end when the giant started to move slower and slower, but he was still alive at the end!
