For hip-hop, have you listened to (all) these, yet?
Aesop Rock - The Impossible Kid
Death Grips - Bottomless Pitt
Kendrick Lamar - untitled umastered
Dalek - Asphalt for Eden
Skepta - Konnichiwa
For rock, I highly recommend Xiu Xiu - Plays The Music of Twin Peaks. It's not strictly rock music, but it does have a few noise rock tracks scattered throughout. The rest is really sinister ambient music; really great tribute album.
For the more straightforward stuff:
The Drones - Feelin' Kind of Free
Meta Meta - MM3
King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard - Nonagon Infinity
Parquet Courts - Human Performance
Also, there's new David Bowie, Radiohead, and Car Seat Headrest albums. If you've slept on any of those, listen to them ASAP. They're easily the most distinguinshed rock releases of the year (even though AMSP wasn't exactly my cup of tea). It hasn't been a very good year for rock in general, though, besides the above. Last year was way better.
Edit: Also, new Ty Segall (this is probably the closest to hard rock; really fun album) and Deerhoof
