Why? what does it mean by Warrior cats? why do i feel offended by it? What is the story behind this?

Warrior Cats is just a series of books written by someone. In regards to the guideline it is the same thing as saying 'No Star Wars', just for Warrior Cats.

You shouldn't be, at least I think you shouldn't be. If you really like WC (Warrior Cats) and want to write about it, do it elsewhere and you'll be fine.

Story
Ah, the Great Purge, and the build up to it... sure am glad I was not around for such harrowing times... Anyway, the story (to try and summarise) was that the fandom (or the parts that were attracted to this site) ended up being the very antitheses of what you would want on a site like this. Many did not care for improving their writing, pretty much rushing rubbish out and cluttering the site. Hostility was also present and directed towards even those who wanted to help them improve. Worth mentioning that many of the stories were pretty much one liners, with fake choices, and copy pastes of the other stories with the names swapped out, thus lack of (or no) creativity. Ultimately, they had to go, so Warrior Cats was banned and it was eventually removed.

From what I recall, there were some among the fandom who weren't that bad, even some who did want to improve, but the environment that ended up being created was simply a bad one. It is a shame that a fandom had to be banned, but I can see why it had to be done, and hopefully, so can you, now that you have read this second hand simplification that probably missed some important details.

Ah I see now, I was very confused about why there was such a specific rule against a very specific topic.

I love that years later these threads still occasionally pop up.

I would've made Google my first stop by at least this way we got story time with Zake.

I love how most sites have a "No alt-right incels" or "No cultural marxist trannys" policy, meanwhile our biggest concern are a bunch of battle pussy fans.

Makes perfect sense to me. Alt right incels and Marxist trannies could theoretically write a decent story and would only help to provide entertainment on the forum in the meantime.

Maybe other sites just need to stop being so disgustingly intolerant.

Zake pretty much summed it up... But I personally think the main reason why Warrior Cats got banned isn't so much that the stories were terrible but more because, for some reason, people seemed to be under the impression that CYS was a Warrior Cats fan-site.

I'd say that, at this time, about half of the new games being published were extremely short and poorly written Warrior Cats fanfics. Also, at this time, CYS had a section for forum games... And about half of the games on there were terrible Warrior Cats roleplaying games where they didn't really have any rules and pretty much just went, "Meow, meow, I ish Hazel-fur from fire clan and I ish looking for pretteh mate to have sexeh time with... Meow."

On top of that, the Warrior Cats fans seemed to be extremely confused by anything not Warrior Cats related. So they'd go onto non Warrior Cats related forum threads and basically just try to change the subject to Warrior Cats. Also, if anybody published a game about anything besides Warrior Cats, they'd give it a low rating and complain, "I like it... But why isn't the game about Warrior Cats? I like Warrior Cats. Next time you write a game, make it about Warrior Cats."

In the end, completely purging the site of everything Warrior Cats related was the only way to get across to the fans that CYS is NOT a Warrior Cats fanfiction website... Which is a shame, 'cos there were one or two (actually I think it was only one) Warrior Cats related game on the site that wasn't completely terrible and didn't really deserve to be deleted... But, to get rid of the rest of them, it was a small price to pay. 

From my point of view it looks funny though lol, yes I found out what wc was a while later when talking to a young women, worst conversation of my life.

Tell me more about this conversation. Did she meow and hiss at you? Was she using a litter box for part of it? I need to know what made it so bad.

I actually kind of like the idea of letting you suffer due to never knowing what made it so horrible.

Yep, if I was offended because some random site on the internet banned fan fiction of some random book I've never heard about, I'd be asking myself that too. The first step towards fixing a problem is understanding you have one, all you have to do now is stop being offended.

Like the others said, Warrior Cats was banned because, for whatever reason, the vast majority of the fans were stupid, annoying children. Of course, most children are like that to some extent, but none could beat the writers of kitten porn. They refused to stop spamming the site with terrible stories or to even improve them just a little. So the admins killed them all, and everyone that mattered was happy.

I actually thought he was offended by the idea of Warrior Cats. Like... "Wait, Warrior Cats? Cats that are warriors? That is the fucking stupidest thing I've ever heard. Cats are the laziest animals on the planet. They can barely be bothered to hiss at each other... This concept is so stupid, it offends me."

Lmao, let's just go with that it makes this so much more hilerious.
