I know that some writers like to find artwork of characters that look like theirs, but I have a hard time finding good images. If any of you writers use artwork to show your characters, where/how do you look for it?

There’s always the option of drawing your own characters, if you’re willing to sacrifice some time in order to make them.

I’m not very good at drawing humans. That’s putting it lightly, if I’m honest. I can’t draw humans. I can draw cats and dogs and that’s pretty much it.

Well human character should be relatively easy, if you just search for their attributes, unless you want to find drawings of people, and not pictures, then maybe cross your fingers and think lucky thoughts before you search. Having a 4 leaf clover next to you might help as well.

I just do image searches on Google and a lot of scrolling.

Assuming there isn't already something usable in my extensive folders of fantasy art, also ripped from Google.
