Go from right to left, and don't be an idiot in attempting to use your mobile. If you attempt to read manga on a small screen you never will be immersed in it. A big screen like a laptop lets you see the artwork of the mangaka and also helps in reading. Manga is not that different from your regular comic book. I find manga much better than anime, maybe because I just prefer reading stuff; but at times the anime tends to worsen the plot while the manga of the same topic covers it beautifully.

I usually use this site for reading mangas. The scans are of pretty good quality.

Well, I never really had any problems with immersion when reading manga from my phone, hell, I read it mostly on my phone since I can't be on my laptop for extended periods of time.

Reading manga on mobile is great if you don't have uncorrected problems with eyesight.
