Welcome! There's quite a few people here into D&D so I'm sure you'll fit right in. Storygames here tend to be more focused on story than game, but Dungeon Stompage might be something you enjoy. There's nothing actually preventing games with more focus on stats, skills, etc. from being made with the advanced editor except author preference. Happy reading! (Path of Death or any of Endmaster's fantasy stories are also good places to start.) Oh...and you should get the site extension for Firefox or Chrome, it adds an option for dark mode and other features and just gives the whole place a face lift. You might also be interested in the IFComp, which is having their 25th anniversary this year. There are 80+ text games of all kinds there and they're open for players to vote on until mid November. (Skybreak! is the one a lot of us are currently playing.)
