I'm new and I have no idea how this works aside from the typing and creating links on the part where u make storygames. How does anyone fid the time to write so much!? I've seen some amazing stories that look like they should have taken years.

Is there anyway to make the story game makeing part faster or easier?

No, and I recommend not seeking out ways to make the progress faster. That can easily lead to the writing becoming sloppy and half-assed, and no one wants that, especially not the writer himself.

If you're rushing your story then you have already failed. You need to take your time.

Yes and no. It helps to already know what you want to type. You might even keep a notebook where you write down ideas for plot and little bits and pieces of pages, character info, etc. This will make it easier to type it all out. But, do not rush. Take your time; the end result will be worth it.

You finish the long stories because you get interested in seeing your work done and enjoyed by others. Can't speak for others but that's how it is for me.

Usually it's because I have some kick-ass moments in mind and want to get to them, so I write like a horse...a horse that can write at least...and does it really fast.

There's no easy way to make a good storygame. Some of the really good storygames did take years to make...although one or two took less than a day to make. So it depends, how fast can you type? How prepared are you? Have you thought about your game long enough to say "It's perfect!" sincerely?

Welcome! My first game did take a really long time, actually. Even when I thought it was finished, I ended up going back and realizing it pretty much needed an overhaul.
