I just found this site yesterday. I specifically made an account so I could rate this story called: "It's a Boy". The story was awesome, by the way.

But anyway, now I am going to shoot my shot at making a choose-your-own-adventure story. I cannot say when mine will be done, but you can see it as a sneak peek on my profile. Wish me luck on that, and I hope whoever is reading this has a great day/night.

I looked at the game's sneak peek, and I think you've got the hang of it. Your story looks pretty fantastic, especially for a first time story, and I have a feeling it'll do pretty well here. You got world building down, 3-5 endings planned, interesting narration, solid writing skills, and a unique premise. Something tells me it's not your first time handling a project like this. I'm excited to see "My Pet Mie".


Also, the audience here can handle pretty mature themes, so don't be afraid that you have to hold back or censor yourself, tell the story exactly how you want it to be told. It's good that you put a disclaimer in any case. That way the reader can decide whether they want to read this story or not.

Well, actual smut and anything that reads primarily as fetish material is still restricted. I haven't looked at the game so I don't know what it's about, but got to be cautious telling a denizen of the internet just "cut loose and do whatever" lol.

It's difficult to apply any kind of real ratings guideline to text since that can deal with much more complex subjects with varying degrees of tastefulness, but "rated R if it were a movie" is still a good ballpark to aim for.

I did see a thread on here talking about this topic. I will do my best to keep my writing tasteful and to treat serious subjects with tact. I will likely use the story "It's a Boy" as an example of what to do right, since the author did include serious topics/elements in his/her story, but only used such topics briefly and kept the details very light/brisk.

Thank you! I am glad that I am, at the very least, in the right ballpark for what readers here may find enjoyable (and that I seem to have a grasp on how to write a proper story on here). I have been writing for a while, so that may explain why/how this new format comes so easily to me.
