No lol, I asked because they specified Norway, Canada, UK, etc! I was wondering if it only applied to those countries. If so, they should expand their business to include France as well - i'm sure a lot of people would like to curse the French.

LOL I don't think I can translate what you mean accurately with my limited knowledge of Québécois.. I got "certainly, but why this one?".

     I know, it has a few translation options because it isn't exact. The translation I was trying to make the best I could was "Sure, but why THIS?" This as in gay, since I don't know what gay in french is.

Well, French people are often stereotyped as gay by the media and stuff satirically. I'm not quite sure of the exact reason, or how this stereotype started though. I do know that France is generally more accepting of the LGBT+ so that could be a reason why? 

Edit: Québécois is referring to Canadian French, it's a tad bit different from your regular French^^ I used Québécois because I know a bit of Canadian French but not France French if that makes sense. 

     Perhaps? It's not just french though, my last school had LGBTQ+ people are welcomed here signs everywhere and things like LGBTQ+ should be respected and stuff, and other things too like how color of skin didn't matter. It isn't going on anymore, I think it was an attempt at making our generation more accepting or something, but now I have the image of tons of posters burned into my mind.

     I have no problem with LGBTQ+, but I hated that!

Countries are starting to get more progressive, a lot more people are accepting of the LGBTQ+! That's probably why your school had those posters and signs, to encourage more people to be understanding! I used France specifically because it's one of the more progressive countries homosexuality-wise. They decriminalized homosexuality in 1791 which is kind of crazy, compared to lets say, England's date of 1967. ^^

Most places in the US have been forced by law to take stuff like that down and remove any "supportive" language.

Avo knows basically nothing about media or common cultural touchstones, history, geography etc, so at times clear communication can be a struggle. I think her parents keep her locked in a submarine at the bottom of the ocean or something to protect her from impure influences.
