Figures. Never tasted it in any standard American Chinese dish, though. But they do a stuffed eggplant dish, seasoned with I don't even know what, besides my ability to recognize cilantro, and it is aMAZing.
Their "standard" dishes all have a pretty heavy hand with the ginger, which I also approve of. And then there's Taipei & Tokyo, Osaka, Moshi Moshi... yeah, I have like four favorite Asian restaurants. Oh wait, and the Thai place. We've also got Tibetan, Moroccan, Indian obviously, Mexican in both authentic and super Americanized versions, both super tasty... oh, and there's the new Vietnamese place I haven't gotten around to trying yet...
...yeah, now I've gone and made myself hungry. XD
