Any free, PC games that you people like and would recommend? I would suggest Project Reality. It is a military sim, like ARMA, and it is the spiritual predecessor to Squad. Completely free with no crappy micro-transactions or ads.

Already played it, it was quite fun. Makes me wonder why they won't include AI bots in Battlefield games.

It's like Diablo, but (in my opinion) better.

And is it weird to anyone else that Negative became more active than ever immediately after leaving?

I would recommend RuneScape, but I'm not sure how much of it has changed in five years. It was always enjoyable to play on dull weekends.

Is Project Reality on Steam?

It is not on steam but available on their site as a single standalone download without registration. There is even a torrent if you want safe downloading. Try it, worth every second!
