Would anyone be interested in having their story turned into an app?

I think it would be a fun project and could be a way for more people to read yor stories. 

Not sure I'd understand the point of that when they're already readable on the site without needing to download anything.

Of course I've always thought versions that could be read offline would be nice, but there's Twine or various IF making programs if an author wants to convert their game over, so again, unless I'm missing something, an app seems like reinventing the wheel.

Tell him apps are stupid, quick, this is another chance for you to argue in a thread the mods will probably ignore.

I think it could be a way to reach out to a wider audience. Also, you can do more within an app like add effects and sounds if you wanted and have an overall better presentation. 

This person has over 50 apps on Google Play and has over 1 million downloads where he charges 2-4$, plus in-app purchases for mediocre stories. 

I'm just saying it's another option for you all to consider where you might be able to make some income from your creations.

APPS ARE STUPID! You can do that stuff in Twine, too.

That person has more exposure than any of us. It's even shadier that now you're talking about selling our app stories, when at first you were just talking about making them into apps. Now I only have reason to be suspicious of you.

With your help, though, right? Sketchy ass internet fuckers these days...

Anyone who says yes is most likely going to have their work stolen and sold is the vibe I'm getting here.

It would be illegal and unethical to use someone's creative content without their permission. 

I guess none of you trust me because why should you? I don't have any other motives besides trying to make a successful Choose Your Own Story app, it would be a fun challenge. I guess I can try to make my own story but I'm not creative in that way. 

If anyone does decide, let me know. 

If not then I seriously urge you all to consider to expand your opportunities and platforms. There's a shitload of money (I know  it's not the most important thing) and willing readers out there.

It's your choice.
