If you get the latest update, it will break the extension.

This is obviously an issue with Chrome, but they're lazy so Brad is looking into it on his end. He's pretty busy though so maybe just don't update Chrome? What do these updates actually even do but spy on your internet usage more efficiently anyway.

Last I checked there was no problem with Firefox, but if it does become a thing I'll just go back to the old, superior version.

Here's something wild from tech guru Ogre: when Chrome tells you that it turned the extension off, you can turn it back on. Wow!

Initial reporters of the demise of CYSE understandably may not have posessed this elite hacker knowledge.

Just ran into this, and yeah can confirm if you just click a few buttons it'll let you keep it.

Yeah, I'm sorry I didn't get to this for so long. When Google delayed the switch to Manifest V3 way back when, I really took it for granted.

I've got an update going through Google's review process now. Unless some greivous error I've overlooked crops up, or they reject it for some reason, I can publish it once it's approved.
