History - The basic idea for my game.
Thousands of years ago, there lived a race of people, who believed in the art of magic and the powers of essence. They were both strong and smart. Powerful and graceful. There was many things they valued but time was the most important.
There warrior’s were called Samurak’s, later the Japanese called there warriors Samurai’s in honour of the ancient warrior Samurak’s. However the Samurak’s had control over many things, fire, electricity, sky, and earth to name a few. A true leader of the Samurak’s needed to control time and the seven plains. There are nine levels of time, 1X to 9X, Everyone can control time on 1X, simply by moving, but only one Samurak, the great Kiel could control 9X, therefore he was 9X faster then the average warrior. A Samurak could control at least 2X, therefore reducing Kiel to only 8X has fast.
They lived in peace, practicing there art, when an evil sorceress came to the land, she cast a spell on Kiel, if he died, he would not join the table of god’s as was his right, but live in eternal torture in her domain. Unless he died in the river Jordan or the river of death. The river Jordan would kill all who laid anything to touch it. It was indeed the most powerful thing on the gentle planet.
There was a tree that grew on the river itself, the water fed it and it grew so tall that the gods could sit on the upper branches and watch, this was called the table of god’s and anyone who died could try to climb the tree, making it to the top would initiate them as a god, the curse laid on Kiel would not grant him the right to climb unless he died by the river.
The Samurak’s had a difficult initiation ceremony. They found fossils that contained things not only dead but bound in such a death that death could not even phase them. They used the fossils to build a small boat. At the beginning of each winter when the water of death was weakest they would bring the boat to a small island where the tree thrived. Each person who wanted to join the Samurak’s would draw there family blade and attack the tree, if the blade broke, they would have two choices: go back in shame, or throw themselves into the river. Most jumped. However the other side of the coin is if the sword did not break, instead the tree would glow gold and the person would name there sword and join the Samurak’s.
A persons top boundary in speed is 5X and a swords is 2X, if a Sword is a sword forged by the gods (Otherwise it must have been forged by a spirit or it wouldn’t have been able to withstand the tree) it alone would enable its user to go at speed 2X, if a Person could push themselves to 5X, then they would be at 7X, the only person to do that is Kiel. Kiel named his Sword Zinc. After that Kiel was only a 7X, he is now an Nine, a sword can carry as many spirits as its speed, so Kiel’s could carry two, he found and captured two spirits, each one pushing his time up by one, so he stands at 9X.
