Thank you, everyone! Yes, I did. (I have it in writing from march that I am the king of love and dating -- at this point.)
I thought Snow Maiden would be the most common ending. One of the other endings requires you to choose mostly bad/negative responses, and the other. . . I'm not telling.
okay seth, you had to say that, now i am gonna go back and find that secretive ending :P
congrats btw!
The original idea was more based on the yuki-onna legend.
Also, I'd like to point out that I managed to write this one without naming any characters.
yeah, i got the frozen ending lol...
you know, the original variable trigger for that ending was supposed to mean he didn't love her-- but even in that ending he did.
They had names, but I thought it would have more appeal if they could be from anywhere that has snow. The hardest parts were the first rocks scene, and actually the part where she gets off the bus. It's hard to describe a bus stop without a street name.
yes - had to double check it's maturity rating but you're in the clear. I was pretty sure I had seen everything in the game (and then went into the game to make sure) - i was actually upset to see that there were ONLY 3 endings. lol - of course that's better than most.
march
I thought about adding a piece at the beginning to censor that part if someone didn't want to read it. But then I figured, there's only one way to reach that page, and I did rate it "I'll need to see some identification." Darn it's hard to write tasteful, descriptive, yet not too descriptive love scenes.
Adding a piece right before the scene would have ruined the flow.
(Yeah, yeah, write one game with 13 endings, and all of a sudden everyone expects 15 endings for your next one. . .)
The game actually has high replay value. It's beautifully written and it's short with a variety of different responses that you can choose. I really start to feel for this girl - and i'm happy there's no names because then I can imagine it however I want. Seth, you may look at it like simple scripting - I see it as a really wonderful story. I've seriously played it like 5 times today.
One tip for the next one: LONGER
wow - number two on the site.
it shouldnt count on the overall rating for snow. since it is an extrenous variable. from what i remember from alex, those are not factored into the actual overall rating since they are outside the standard deviation. that whole statistics thing again. lol but yes, having a goober rate it a 1 without commenting why is crappy.
