I am a very inactive person because I lost interest in my own things fast and idk how to really plan these things out and stuff.

Do You Believe In Ghosts?
unpublished

A Story-game where you try to prove or disprove the existence of ghosts.

Hotel Escape
unpublished

You are stuck in a hotel. Find a way to escape!

The Old, Mysterious Journal
unpublished

You go into this abandoned building out of pure curiosity and you find the shell of an old journal with some pages torn out and missing. You think that maybe they're lying about the house for some reason and your suspicions were correct, there were pages all over the place.

There are 10 pages to find.

This isn't meant to be difficult, you just have to find out where they are and figure out the story behind the journal and the house. Pretty much.

Help With Links on 9/10/2015 9:26:10 PM

I think I know what I did wrong now. Let me see if that's it, because everything seemed straight forward, but I think I did one thing wrong...

EDIT: I figured out what I did wrong. I didn't create an Unlock Door link on the page. The most obvious thing. But thank you!!!

Okay, I'll try.

Yes, I can click and go to the page with or without the key.

Help With Links on 9/9/2015 3:13:43 PM

I'm creating a storygame that has locked doors in it. I want to be able to make it where you need the key to unlock the door and when you don't have the key and you haven't unlocked it yet, you can't click on the link.

I just can't seem to figure it out. I've tried reading the articles, but they don't seem to make sense to me (It's just me, I prefer an organized table with the scripts and what they do compared to the many paragraphs explaining it. It's just how I learn stuff.).

I have some of the keys as items and been testing out how to do it. I put the restriction on the link for the item restriction "has" because from what I understand, unless the main character has the key, they can't click on the link and whenever I test it, it doesn't work. I have no idea what to do. Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you, I wish I noticed that, lol.

It's fine, it happens.

Idk, I have to think about it before I join that site because it seems I can't read it without being a member or something.

It's nothing too serious, I'm still working on how the story goes, it might change a little or a lot. It's not where anyone collects things because I have to learn how to do the coding stuff. It's not that they truly do so, it's more of if the character chooses to change their mind or whatever. Not actually doing so. It  makes sense in my head, I just can't find the words to describe it.

The character goes into the story either believing or not believing in ghosts, and then at the end they could either still believe or not believe or change their minds completely kind of thing.

I messed up my wording in the main post. I guess it's more of proving or disproving more to yourself than to really anyone else, so it doesn't get all complicated with other people. It's more of putting someone in a situation and see if they change their mind or not. Does that make sense? Because that's the best way I can really describe what I'm trying to say. It's all for the character's personal mindset or whatever the word I'm trying to look for.

So, I need to actually finish an actually story-game and I go onto phases of motivation to no motivation.

I am currently working on one story-game, a ghost story where you play as a character who either believes or doesn't believe in ghosts and is either trying to prove or disprove the existence of ghosts. And there is a silly ending because I want to be silly, and I don't really know how many endings I will have, but there's at least 3 good endings.

I might even start working on multiple ones, but one is good for now.

I pretty much work on all the different things at the same time. Like, I would make each choice, write down what that happens with that choice, and go onto what happens if you chose the other one. Like that. If you understand.

But really, I need some motivation.

Thanks :)

I just needed the basic scripting. I made it do what I wanted it to do. :D
