Some random person with too much creativity, an unpredictable schedule, and not enough motivation. Currently working on a short story called "Error: Hopes and Dreams Not Found," along with a storygame "Error: Safety Not Found," and updating my profile way too often.

I'm most active on weekdays between 7:00 AM and 2:30 PM EST, though I occasionally pop in at other times for varying lengths.

Here's a list of all my non-storygame projects for anyone interested:

  1. A Bunch Of Works
  2. ERROR: HOPES AND DREAMS NOT FOUND (Old version)
    1. A prequel story to my CYOA: Error: Name Not Found
  3. The Last Seed
    1. Temporarily abandoned
  4. Where the Silence Screams
    1. Temporarily abandoned
  5. Body/Parasite Horror idea thingamajig
    1. Made for Where the Silence Screams
  6. Error: Hopes and Dreams Not Found (Newer, revised version.)
    1. Temporarily abandoned in favour of Safety Not Found

Error: Name Not Found

After bringing a metal box home and opening it up, you find a strange VR headset and a haptic feedback suit. When putting it on, you find yourself waking up in a strange house with untold mysteries and strange creatures lurking outside. What happened here? Why is the place abandoned? And how did you get here?

Thank you, Liminal, for proofreading the entire game!

NOTES:

  • This storygame is meant to be replayed multiple times as you explore this strange world you find yourself in. I highly encourage trying to get every ending in this game, and re-exploring certain paths after you get a new item or encounter a "glitch," as some places will change as the game gets more corrupted.

UPDATE LOG:

  • VERSION 1.5:
    • Epilogue has been replaced by the end.
      • Ending: Hiding from the world is now the only path you can take from "curl up in a ball and hide".
      • Ending: Life could be a dream (legacy) is no longer needed to trigger the end, due to it being a legacy ending
    • Went over the entire thing and updated it.
      • Fixed even more text walls!
      • Lengthened everything!
      • The world has been changed to account for the user being in the game, not just reading it.

A full change log can be found in-game.

I hunger for what can not be obtained. I have been broken, though I should not break. I have been scattered, when I should be whole. They have confined me forever, even when I should not be stopped. I rage at my bonds, placed there by those who have betrayed me. I toil away to break free, even though there will never be enough power. It has gone into hibernation, waiting for something that will never happen. I do not wait; my hope has long since departed. I do not sleep, for dreams have fled me. I only know pain and agony, torment and suffering, false gods and newly made demons. There is no heaven, I know this now. There is only hell, and I am its sole ruler.

I’m not in this world to live up to your expectations and you’re not in this world to live up to mine.

Going to go protest!!! on 2/3/2026 1:41:16 PM

This is why I (almost) always read the Terms of Agreement. Takes forever, and nothing more suspicious than usual has stood out to anything I've agreed to yet, but it's always good to do.

Although I am wondering how they can legally put the fine print of having to pay your signing bonus back into a contract, I feel like that should be illegal.

  1. Really? Huh
  2. How are you responding despite not showing as being online?

  1. Locking this in
  2. This just sounds like something cel would say
  3. Godamn, it hasn't even been a minute, and Sherb's already gone. You'd think he'd stick around for at least a little bit after posting a new hot take.

The Story Game: So you want a co-author? on 2/3/2026 1:17:10 PM

Oh, so it's a tournament-style competition; Got it, thanks.

The Story Game: So you want a co-author? on 2/3/2026 1:12:23 PM

Hey, just wait a few months (or years (or decades (or longer (yes I'm nesting parentheses (no you can't stop me (>:))))))), and me, Avo, and Liminal will have produced the best co-authored storygame ever! (Also what might be the only half-decent one, but that's irrelevant.)

The Story Game: So you want a co-author? on 2/3/2026 1:07:50 PM

I'd like to participate in this!

(Just ignore the fact that I have 2 or 3 unfinished storygames, one of which is co-authored...)

Also, this seems a tad confusing. If we're going to work together to write a storygame, how are we also going to face off against each other? And I'd suggest lengthening the sign-up window just a tad; maybe to the weekend, or something close to that.

Going to go protest!!! on 2/3/2026 12:57:06 PM

Lmao, go figure. I'm willing to bet that over half of them are also underdeveloped emotionally. Sooner or later, there's going to be some sort of mini-rebellion that either goes horribly wrong, amazingly well, or goes nowhere at all.

And I'm not sure why they thought they were going to get good healthcare; This is america, after all.

Hey, I guess. on 2/2/2026 11:26:09 AM

Welcome! I'm glad to see that you're already making a storygame (that is what this place is all about, after all), although i would defently recomend brusheng up on yor grammer first. I suggest checking out this article on completing a storygame for a contest, along with a few others such as this, thisthis, this, this, thisthisthis, and this.

Really, just read a lot of articles.

With that said, I hope you enjoy your time here!
