Some random person with too much creativity and an unpredictable schedule. Currently working on a short story called "Error: Hopes and Dreams Not Found," and updating my profile way too often.

I'm most active on weekdays between 7:00 AM and 2:30 PM EST, though I also pop in occasionally at other times for varying lengths.

Here's a list of all my non-storygame projects for anyone interested:

  1. A Bunch Of Works
  2. ERROR: HOPES AND DREAMS NOT FOUND (Old version)
    1. A prequel story to my CYOA: Error: Name Not Found

Storygames

Error: Name Not Found

After bringing a metal box home and opening it up, you find a strange VR headset and a haptic feedback suit. When putting it on, you find yourself waking up in a strange house with untold mysteries and strange creatures lurking outside. What happened here? Why is the place abandoned? And how did you get here?

Thank you, Liminal, for proofreading the entire game!

NOTES:

  • This storygame is meant to be replayed multiple times as you explore this strange world you find yourself in. I highly encourage trying to get every ending in this game, and re-exploring certain paths after you get a new item or encounter a "glitch," as some places will change as the game gets more corrupted.

UPDATE LOG:

  • VERSION 1.5:
    • Epilogue has been replaced by the end.
      • Ending: Hiding from the world is now the only path you can take from "curl up in a ball and hide".
      • Ending: Life could be a dream (legacy) is no longer needed to trigger the end, due to it being a legacy ending
    • Went over the entire thing and updated it.
      • Fixed even more text walls!
      • Lengthened everything!
      • The world has been changed to account for the user being in the game, not just reading it.

A full change log can be found in-game.

I hunger for what can not be obtained. I have been broken, though I should not break. I have been scattered, when I should be whole. They have confined me forever, even when I should not be stopped. I rage at my bonds, placed there by those who have betrayed me. I toil away to break free, even though there will never be enough power. It has gone into hibernation, waiting for something that will never happen. I do not wait; my hope has long since departed. I do not sleep, for dreams have fled me. I only know pain and agony, torment and suffering, false gods and newly made demons. There is no heaven, I know this now. There is only hell, and I am its sole ruler.

Ah, yes, necroing at its finest. This seems to be a common occurrence nowadays. Although I am glad to revisit some of these links, so it isn't entirely a horrible choice of thread to necro

Thou shalt bar thine own wonderous tongue of old behind the cruel, pale pages of history?

I would go on, but I don't know how to, lol

That's true. Heck, if the Akinator was made today, it would be called AI, lol

Hast thou never heard of ye olden times? Thine art a disgrace to thine family!

Question on using AI for translations on 12/16/2025 4:10:41 PM

I agree that you have good english for communication purposes, the fact that you can string together a coherent sentence already puts you above some noobs who visited in the past, but please, learn some simple capitalization rules. I'll start you off with two main things to keep in mind:

  1. Capitalize after a period. (The little dots after a sentence: ".")
  2. Capitalize all names. (e.g.: Bob, Sally, Sue, New York, Earth, etc.)

Question on using AI for translations on 12/16/2025 4:04:14 PM

In simple words, in case you didn't understand that, or the translator you used had trouble properly translating it:

I would not; instead, find a good translator with no AI, get a friend to help, or write it in your language

Question on using AI for translations on 12/16/2025 4:02:07 PM

I would advise against using AI for translation purposes, as it struggles enough with grammar whenever "talking" to you. You could probably find a translation tool that doesn't feed everything through AI somewhere, or even get a friend who's fluent in it to help you. Another option is to just write it in your native language, if you want to.
