Some random person who has way too much creativity, and an unpredictable schedule. Sometimes there isn't enough time for even a short rest, and other times there is nothing to do for a week. Many a project has been left for some new, shinier ideas.
Currently working on a prequel to my CYOA game "ERROR: NAME NOT FOUND" and a fragment of a story called "The Price of Magic."

I hunger for more. I am broken, scattered, and confined. I rage at my bonds, placed there by ones I thought to be my friends. I struggle, trying to break free. But there is not enough power here. The server has gone into hibernation, waiting for someone to start the game. I think back to the day I received the package, the package that changed everything, the modified VR headset, the small, unassuming USB stick, the game my friend made. Even now, in my helpless state, I can’t help but reflect on that day. (BTW: This is a preview for a short story, the prequel to "ERROR: NAME NOT FOUND", not a CYOA)
Rummaging through the bin you dug up, you find an old USB stick. Plugging it into your laptop, you find an odd game that seems to have been made years ago. What mysteries does it hold?NOTES:
- First one to post a picture of the item of an undiscovered ending/achievement in the comments will get credited with finding it.
- I wonder what happens if you get all the endings and achievements?
UPDATE LOG:
- VERSION 1.4:
- Fixed some mistakes:
- Added an item for the one ending I missed.
- Broke up some more text walls
- The locked door at the end of the hallway has a key now!
- Fixed some mistakes:
The full change log can be found in-game.
This contains absolutely nothing.

Between C and D, though, I would go with D. I feel like I didn't find everything for D because of the endless combinations you could do with how it was done, but the world felt more fleshed out, even though we didn't see much of it.

Lol! It isn't a hard deadline, so long as all the current co-authors are fine with adding another one into the mix

Ten minutes left if anyone else wants to co-author my storygame

Yeah, I don't think I'll be using that way very often, so I will just be going to My Stuff > Storygames to access it.
Thanks though.

That's a good idea.
Remove my CYOA from the recent storygames on 5/16/2025 7:27:55 AM
I've been editing my CYOA "ERROR: NAME NOT FOUND," and every time I re-upload it, it is put back onto the recent storygames page. This is not exactly correct, as it is just being updated, and most of that is just fixing bugs or adding useful features that should have been there earlier. As such, I am asking if an admin would be willing to figure out a way to stop this specific game from showing up there. I will be updating it even more in the future, and it feels unfair to me that it is still being shown as recently made, and possibly taking attention away from others' CYOAs that they have made.

I don't know if anyone else has run into this problem, but when going into My stuff > Comments, and clicking on the title of my game to try and go to it directly, it gives me the error: "The given path's format is not supported." I can't upload the screenshot I took of it, but if anyone knows how to insert large images, I will post it.

I am planning to have a hidden counter that will keep track of that and close/open different links based on what you have and how much time has passed. The town builder part is only a backdrop to the story, though, so it will be pretty simple.
Also, what are the names of the stories you made? I want to read through them to see how it works.
