It's a wonderful day in Hearthwick, one of those clear blue sky days when the greenery just gleams at everyone. Sam Oddlee is ready to take on his first request at the Guild. With his apparently essential guidebook, the dagger his father gave him, and his will to do good, he excitedly opens the door to the Hearthwick Adventuring Guild!
Only to find a clerk lazing away, just barely glancing at him.
He walks up to them, still earnest and ready but also confused. After all, wouldn't an Adventuring Guild be busy? Before he could utter a single word, the clerk waves him away to the request board...
