Player Comments on Blunder Brain Bob Baldwin of Baltimore In: No Escape

Very impressive, I found this to be a rather enjoyable adventure. The writing was clever and I couldn't find any faults in it. Also, great use of pictures, I liked the variety and they were also used in good fashion. From what I read, everything seemed to flow quite well and make sense in the context of the story, which also had it's genuine moments of humor.

From a technical sense, this story does well in most aspects. I think that there's a good mix of game and dialogue here, as there's definitely enough of both to keep one entertained, at least in my case.

Also, I liked the variety of choices that were presented in this game, there was never a dull moment because of that fact. This game definitely impressed me. And as for the overall difficulty, it wasn't too hard and the only challenge that I found was trying to achieve the 'best' ending I could that would explain how the protagonist found their self to be in their predicament.

All things considered, this is a decent quality game. One I wouldn't have much issue with in recommending others to experience, so good work!

I believe the story possesses an excellent sense of humor. It reminds me of a friend of mine. The pictures really add to the effect. Am I correct in assuming you took them in a local high school?

Pretty good, and I also love how this "dungeon" looks very modern, maybe it's like a beta version of the Backrooms, as the Backrooms did not exist in 2006 (or whatever year this was made)

Great writing on this one. It's an escape game that entertains AND provides you with many choices (though many do end up as deaths).

Seeing as my character ended up waking from a dream, I do not have any idea as to the background behind the weird place I "woke up" in, but surely an explanation IS there...probably.

Cents are absolutely worth spending on this. 6/8.

Damn, this is actually so funny. I remember reading Blunder Brain back when I was a pre-teen and it totally went over my head.

"These images have nothing to do with the castle... what a lazy author..." and so on and so forth.

I was just stupid. This was good.

That was fun, never found out how I got there though.

That was actually more interesting than I thought it would be. Though I question the pictures you added to the pages. While they had a bit of relevance to the story, the modern and sometimes childish look of the pictures distracted from the story itself and didn't at all scream dark, scary dungeon or mysterious, ominious dungeon or anything of the sort. It rather lacked in mood also. Was I supposed to feel frightened at this unknown place? If so, was I supposed to imply this from the ancient castle of the days of yore? I rather like old castles, and scary wasn't my first idea. And one more thing... what does the glowing, white/blue item in the room look like? Is it actually a glowing item or it it simply a ball of light?

Eh, it was OK. Basically all I had to do was that (most of the time) pick the first option. Pretty boring, but, like the rating, it WAS better than homework.

Triangle room is kinda linear, but the spoon payment gave me a chuckle.

Well written and a bit surreal. I was frustrated by the fact that the text kept mentioning my rusty spoon, however. I bribed the guard with it on the very first page to escape my cell, dammit! I don't need no steenkin' spoon!

Nothing I like doing better then sitting around the fire and reminissin about battles and escapin dungeons. One time I was thrown in a dungeon and all I had was some corn meal and my trusty spoon. Those were good times, a little strange but good times none the less.

Hi, this game seemed like a fun thing to do; I got the url on google answers (a clever way to promote the site!). <br><br>Here are some observations; they are intended to be helpful so if they're not, just metaphorically pick up this email and throw it away!<br><br>I notice that there were no moral dilemmas in the game, for example a challenge such as that presented in the movie &#34;Black Knight&#34; -- you must rid us of this wicked king before you go back to your own time.<br><br>Nor was there any other dimension in which the character had a reason to take one choice rather than the other. Except maybe in the first scenario where you get to choose among bribing (distracting) a dull-minded jailer, picking the lock with a rusty spoon and ... (i forget!). <br><br>Having said all that, I think the game was a great achievement in a short space of time by someone doing it on assignment. <br><br>Blessings, Sarah.<br>

Wow this is really a great game. It is much better than the other games here. I really enjoyed the pictures. It really brought me into the story. I really thought I was Blunder Brain Bob Baldwin of Baltimore for a bit there. I can't wait till this game is completely finished so I can go back through every possible route.
