shy, writing stories, lurking in the shadows, and ALIVE. I'm okay.
I would like to purchase this dollar.

Was going to be a submission to End Master's Manifest Destiny Contest, but I didn't finish it in time.
It's historical because it's based on something that happened in the past, but it still happens today, just people don't seem to know about it. This is close to being a Modern because of that, which isn't one of the contest categories. This could also be edutainment, but I don't trust that I'm 100% accurate.
I might change the title.
W A R N I N G S : Animal cruelty (includes you and others of your species).
This one might be a long story. Began: January 2021 - Last worked on: 26 April 2021 - Word count: 3251ish
I'm not sure what this is yet, but I'll try to keep at least the first parts of it short so the reader can get to making choices faster. It's in a more mature category right now because I might include some violence, gore, or themes that people may be sensitive to.
There's not as much reading between choices, but there's a lot of choices.
So far I'm keeping the genders up to the reader by using they/them for (most of) the characters.
This story didn't really have a plot at first! It's forming as I write.
WARNING: May contain space machines.
10 Aug: This is actually more interesting than I've been thinking it is... The plot/story is just everywhere, though.
23 Sep: Amalgam seems like a fitting name.
26 Apr: I might discard this story and mix parts of it into Grey Noise.
When your thoughts bully you.
Began: 19 March 2021 - Last worked on: 10 April 2021 - Word count: 2061ish I'm not really working on this one anymore. This story originated from pain.
Began: 18 April 2021 - Last worked on: 5 May 2022 - Word count: 2256ish - Endings (so far): 1
You get kidnapped by some kind of powerful entity and have to find a way to freedom, whether it be through insincere obedience, your own two fists, running away, or simple observation.
It's kind of linear so far, having only two major choices (so far) that guide the story in a different direction. But within that linearity you have multiple small choices you can make that don't affect the story much, but they do change the text you see, like if you run or fight. Those small choices will all give you the same result, but some of them have a chance to affect the future.
Play how you want. Using the back button is perfectly fine, but permanent choices may be more fun. Dying doesn't mean you lost; it's an ending.
A horror (subject to change).
This is planned to be a short story. ...but I did think that about Grey Noise, which isn't turning out that way. To keep it short, I should just use this story as a test of concept.
...I might delete this one because there's not much there and I don't feel like continuing it. But who knows, maybe I'll want to continue it in the future, so I'll keep it for now.
