Hey Green! Thanks for the review, i really appreciate it. The character always thought that she looked like whatshe assumed rest of society looked like (the topic was sort of taboo to talk about with her mother which was hinted at in the first paragraph) So realising that she would be outcasted in human society was a big shock for her, amplified by the fact that a part of her had always wanted to be a part of human society (again, talked about very briefly in the first paragraph ("pushing her curiosity aside") Btw, the monster was a god who could grant infinite knowledge to anyone it hit with the mouth/eye laser. Sorry about the mistakes (should've proofread) :)

Ok, this is going to be my first Lovecraftian horror. This is going to be fun :)
