Variable Text Scripting

To save me time and keep the page count low I'm using variable scripting.  Not only is this helpful in huge chapters like my Journal one but it will provide valuable for making less links.  I have a few questions though.  On my maps I want something like this:

If Y is 5 and X is 8 than show:  To the north is the battle town; (end X but not Y) X is 19 than show: You see your house to the North and a farm to the South; (end X and Y)

Is that possible?

Also, what do I do for a range of numbers for example:  If Q1 is 2-5 than show text:  The law around here is that taking an item out of town that dosen't belong to you but you are borrowing is considered stealing.  Please return the "Rodent Whip" before leaving town.  (End scripting)

How do I get the range for that?  Also, those would be considered two text things you can see in Togg town.  Please answer.  If you don't know

Nesting of conditionals is not supported at this point. IT will once the scripting engine is in place, but that'll be a while.

Alright, that sounds good.  What about having a range of numbers like 2-5 for variable Q1.

Great, Patience is all I need huh?  I'd like the variable scripting done before August 18th.  Is that possible?
