Especially for very loooooong forum topics. So that when I decide to play a storygame after reading forums, I can do it quickly. Or make the left part of this page [the one with Home, Storygames, Forums, My Stuff, etc.] floating, so that regardless of the length of the page we're currently in, we can easily navigate to other pages of the site by simply clicking them off right away [since they're just there, floating].

This is a minor detail though. What do you think?

I actually think that this is a good idea too, since using the scroller thingo on the side of my screen sometimes is a bit fiddly. But then again, you can just use the back button...

yeah, we can use the back button. but what if i want to go to a totally different area in this site? let's say, i want to check "My Stuff"? I'm after the accessibility of the "major links" at the left side of the page once you're at the bottom of a veeeerrrry long page [either the comments section in a storygame or a forum post].

Or maybe I'm just a lazy fatass.

Press the [Home] button on your keyboard?

i'm more of a "mouse" person than a "keyboard" person... that's why the idea came up. :)
