So, the old thread was getting pretty long so I've started a new one. I should be able to get back to writing now since I think I've figured out a way to keep Brasus in the game. Will probably add the new characters later. ^_^

I guess my goal for today is to write a complete plan for everything that happens in the first part of the story including all the choices you're given, all the conversations you have and everything like that.

Well, I haven't written anything for a few days for various reasons (mostly because I'm either too busy or too lazy.) But yeah, I'm back, and I'm feeling pretty unmotivated today, so honestly my goal for the day is just to write... Something. 

If you manage to somehow not accomplish this, you should feel bad.

... Well, I did write something, so... Yey, I think?

Decided that instead of doing my writing exercises today, I'd just get some work done on POF. Nearly finished chapter 5. ^_^

Wrote some more of chapter 5. I decided to expand on it with a big lecture about the importance of dying an honorable death... And I'm starting to worry myself with how long I seem to go between updates. 

Nice. So excited to read it.  On a completely unrelated note, where did you find your demon Little Bo Peep picture for your profile?

But the anime girl is reminiscent of Little Bo Peep. 

She would make as a fine offering to Danaos in gaining his favor. She might have to lose the ribbon though, not that there is anything wrong with ribbons.

Uhh... The character was supposed to be about 13 in this picture, just so you know. (Though I guess that probably wouldn't bother you, since you like showing your soft spot to whimpering boys.)

So I figured that the writing exercises were distracting me too much, so I scrapped them for awhile. Been working on POF all day and finally got chapter 5 finished... Yey! ^_^

... And looking over my notes, I've realized that it took me 18 days to finish one chapter... Considering I wrote the original Price of Freedom in two weeks, I'd say that's pretty bad. 

Just think of it as a marathon rather than a sprint. I can't imagine the pace of those two weeks would be sustainable over a longer period.

Nope. I just get frustrated when I don't make any progress 'cos I'm worried I'll never get it finished. >.<

Just do it in a one quick burst. When you have the time, put aside everything and write until your hand hurts. When that happens, write some more. Don't get distracted. Remember - distractions, like drugs, are bad. 

That's kind of what I was doing yesterday (and what I plan on doing today). Only I've been setting it up with short writing shifts and small rewards... Like I'll write for an hour and then play a game for 5 minutes or something.

You're exposing yourself to distractions. ^_^

But well, if you have the self control to just relax a few minutes by playing a game for only that small amount of time, then I guess you're good. Still - write like you have no tomorrow!

If it helps, the deadline for the next competition is in three weeks. So if you want to enter the full version, it'd be best to hurry.

Th IF comp? Nah, can't enter that with POF since I already entered the same game in another competition. 

Well I been typing away and while I was planning on getting about half of chapter 6 done, I only managed to finish the first part... But hey, at least it's something. ^_^

I'm back! Been on a course for a couple of weeks and so I haven't gotten anything done and I'm really out of practice. One the plus side, today I forced myself to write half a paragraph! ... ... ... It's something.

It's not too bad, though I was going "NOOOOOO!" when it happened. Lol. I'm already through half of it and fortunately I recently posted a bit of my story in the Suzy thread so I can just copy/paste that bit.

Really have to pay extra attention to which version I'm saving when I'm backing up stuff up the flash drive though.

I have a story on the backburner that is like, 150ish pages, and I've rewritten the first 30ish at least twice now.

I just recently reread it, and I'm thinking I need to rewrite it again :(

Thanks a lot for all the support guys! Unfortunately I only managed to write a paragraph again, but hopefully I'll be motivated to write more tomorrow.

That's odd. I never expected End to use a phrase as insane as "thousand burning babies". It's so... EndMaster, It's its own brand! EndMaster, the combination of funny, weird, bizarre, revolting and outlandish.

Anyway, hi everybody! Sorry I haven't been around and I haven't been getting much writing done either. Truth be told I've hardly had any time to myself recently. I was on a course for 2 weeks, then did 2 weeks work experience, then I got a new job and now I've got another new job and I've just started seeing somebody new so basically I just hardly ever have time to get any writing done.

My plan was to at least get the updated version of the first part of the game finished by Christmas but I'll have to see how much free time I can get. Bottom line, I am still working on the story and it's going to be awesome and I will make you all cry and you're going to hate me
