I'm about to start writing my first storygame and I'm unsure about which perspective to choose (first or second).  The traditional CYOA books were all written in 2nd person, but I've always preferred 1st person.  As I haven't had much time recently to read many stories on here yet to see what most are like (I will though before I start writing), I thought I'd ask now just to get some opinions.  Do you prefer reading stories written in the traditional 2nd person perspective or are you okay with reading one in 1st person?

I think that 2nd person makes it easier to create certain scenes, especially those involving death. After-all, narrating your own death...kinda defeats the purpose.

Just use whatever works best for you.

Out of the two, I would go with 2nd person. Though my most preferred perspective is 3rd.
