I'm Acratios. I'm new to the site, but I have been writing CYOAs for around 2-3 months now (and been writing 'normal' flash fictions for around 2 years). I love reading, and can't wait to get to know you folks.

Welcome! You're always in the Discord so I guess you're ahead of the curve here but I'll go over the basics.

First, what genre do you write? You can post excerpts in a Writing Workshop thread if you want some feedback while you're working on it. Just basically no porn is the only major content rule.

And readers are always welcome, in fact usually we recommend new people spend some time browsing the stories. Just helps to get an idea of the quality level readers are looking for and a sense of what the editor can do. Plus many of the stories are just really good.

Leave a rating and at least a short comment on anything you read if you can. That's probably the easiest thing you can do to help the community. (And as your points accumulate, aside from being a visible indicator of your overall worth as a human being, you start have more of an effect on a storygame's overall rating.)

The main storygames page has all the featured stories which are some of the better ones in their categories if you're looking for a place to start. Have fun and let us know if you have anymore questions.

I can read all genres but mostly read Horror.

Weirdly we don't have a ton of those. Half of the stuff in that category I'm not sure I'd even call horror, although if you like zombies, Dead Man Walking is massive and one of the most popular stories on the site.

Might actually be one of the easier genres for new authors to break into as far as getting a featured story.
