I am currently writing a storygame. My plan for fighting and ki*cough* excuse me, un-aliving someone is through trivia questions. Should I go through with this idea? Should I put certain genres of trivia? let me know!

A story game about fighting and… brutally murdering someone?

I’d play it if you gave me a story behind it.

It's not all beating up and unaliving. It's a kingdom ruling game. It has potential for you to be able to beat up and unaliving people, but it doesn't have to be the main focus. I'm calling it Heart of Gold, Heart of Stone. There's worldbuilding and stuff that explains the name that I'm not willing to explain quite yet.

This is a novel idea actually, although whether or not it works heavily depends on your execution of it. If you're trying to make a serious story, then it would be very difficult to incorporate trivia without breaking the fourth wall or ruining immersion.

Also, you can say "killing" lmao

Yeah. I've realised that the trivia would ruin the immersion of the story. I might impliment it somwhere else. Thank you for the responses

Coming from someone who has plowed through (almost) every trivia quiz, that idea has kind of done before with "state capital quiz but with zombies" where one has to fight zombies whenever you are incorrect about a question. 

So it's not entirely original, but it is not really done to death either.

I don't think I could think too harshly of them if this was the result.
