Hello! I’m Meganeuraa, or Mega! I’m new here!

I grew up with corny CYOAs from the 80s and their bullshit RNG. I loved them to death, and attempted to write my own time and time again and show all of my friends and family my incredible masterpieces. I’m sure they were very proud. And very interested. They just didn’t say it!

As of recent I’ve been combing through the site as a guest and reading a lot of the works here. It reignited my obsession with the format, and I got inspired to make an account and try to plot out some of my own!

I have much more experience reading than actually writing, so the process of creating a work is relatively new territory. I’m currently chugging steadily along in the process of writing a ~400 page (non-CYOA) work (the longest that I’ve written,) so a less-ambitious CYOA project to learn the ropes of the site felt like just the thing to pick up on the side to keep me inspired. It’s already outlined, I’ve just got to fill-in the blanks (It's so. much. Fun!) It’s a xenofiction story about surviving as a fox in a world that constantly wants to kill you for sweet, sweet nutrients. It’ll be true-to-life, so many of God’s beautiful, innocent creatures will be, uh. You know.

Writing a 400 page story is super impressive. I respect the dedication.

Nothing wrong with being more of a reader than a writer anyhow, the site is for readers too and feedback for authors can sometimes be a rare commodity. It'd be appreciated I'm sure if you went back and rated some of the games you read or left some thoughts more that you have an account.
