First of all, hello there! I'm rather new, but am already enjoying the site, so hey folks.

Secondly, I have a question regarding uploading images. Considering using copyright images is out of the question, naturally, I assume that using stock photos in storygames is fine. If so, though, is it preferable to use stock images? Since they're gonna have the watermark, it might be a bit distracting, although I've found a couple of sites where the watermark isn't too predominant. Are stock images generally discouraged in use for storygames because of the distracting watermark, or could folks here care less?

Ha-ha. Yes, that goes for people on pretty much every forum. Even I use screenshots from films as my avatar on other sites. Regardless of that, I still prefer to use images that are not copyrighted in my stories, at least.

From what I have seen, the vast majority of stories here simply don't have any images -- it's about the story. That said, if you want to include images, I know the watermark is distracting to me, but if it adds to the story, I'm not going to complain.

True. I've noticed this, as well. For the story I'm creating, I will be using as few images as possible for the very reason that one's imagination is powerful and should be used. However, I would like to include at least a couple of photographs and perhaps some original artwork of mine.
