So everything on this site is community driven. For stories to stay published they need to achieve at the very least some kind of minimumally not awful rating from the users. There's very little censorship of language or content except for like, outright porn. However, we are not fond of shameless degenerates.
Blunt feedback on writing is welcome and should be expected if you post your own, and mods aren't really interested in policing for tone. Someone at some point will eventually call you a retarded faggot, you should make your peace with that now.
There are several of us who have been here a long time, the site itself is 20 years old. Anyone that's been active here longer than a year is either someone we like or someone too autistically tenacious to take the hint and go away. Sometimes we will grow to grudgingly respect that. (It's really best to step back and take a little time to quietly review some games and reflect if you ever seem to be especially clashing with the entire community though.)
Also, there's no such thing as a normal fanfic site.
