How can I get lots of points besides Daily Points, publishing stories and duelling?

450 free points by rating stories.  Writing articles.  I suggest rating stories though.

How do you write an article?

There's a link from the help & info page.  Basically, you write about something that you feel would be of use to the site members, and if it's accepted, it goes on the help & info page and then you get the points.

I suggest checking out the articles that are already published.  First, so you don't waste time on something that already has an article, and second, to get an idea of the kind of articles that are likely to get accepted.

Really, though-- rating stories is by far the quickest, easiest way to get points.  Also, if you rate a high enough percentage of the stories, you automatically get a top rater trophy.

Articles actually used to be faster; when they were worth 50 pts a pop.  Now they are only worth 15.

Rating stories is the way to go.
