Hello i just felt i should declare my opening statements to this site. Ive always been a fan of writing and storygames seem to be my favorite to read, so i believe i may attempt to write a story or two. Ill probably participate in the forum much more than actually writing though. So greetings to anyone who reads this!
Thank you, ive lurked on here for awhile now before creating an account, so ive seen some of their names before.
Well its usually my style, im confused on what made me announce my existence in the first place. Ive read a few of Endmasters stories and I found them very... enjoyable to say the least. (my bad if that sentence wasn't used properly, im too tired to tell.)
It is?
Kidding haha
Hah well you sure wont hear me complain, it wont bother me.
I've only been active for like the past 2 months so I'm fairly new as well.
Anyways welcome to the forums face, hope you get around to making a story at some point.
Welcome to the site Face..down. I'm not sure what to call you. Any nicknames you're a fan of?
Anyway if you need any help with the editor or just with your story in general, there's a whole forum here to assist you. I don't want to speak on behalf of anyone else but I'd say most people would be willing to help through PM as well if you preferred.
Face would be perfectly acceptable ill go by anything to you guys, im just happy to be welcomed to this site the way I am.
Well you guys can call me dave, david, or anything of the sort if you want, im sure you can see my names David. Thank you, its nice to meet you, ive gotta feeling ill be spending alot of time on this site and its nice to hear from some friendly people.
Hi
Hello!
Thanks for the mention mate. Yeah I'd say JJJ, Zikara and myself are the three most active scripters here. There are others, like madglee and solostrike, but I don't see madglee on often (may be the time difference) and solostrike is very rarely here. And alexp of course, but yeah if you get him it's a miracle.
Wait... there are stories here? I just come for the forums :P
The forums are the main reason I joined.
Eh, im actually attempting to write a story though, im just not sure ill ever finish.
Lol, I actually joined for the forums, then I started writing.
Ive never written just to write, so im just trying to get into the habit now that i joined this site.
Good call i didn't notice that.
. . . I've just been so busy . . .
Anyway, I'm fergie. I'd be willing to help whenever you need it as long as it's not scripting, blah blah blah. I've just introduced myself to newbies so many times even I get sick of it :P
Well thank you for introducing yourself, its very appreciated!
we appreciate you being here. :)
Well thank you very much.
Hi again. By the way Cool I like the new picture.
He, yeah. Since when were you into pokemon?
When I was a little kid. But it brings back joyful memories of childhood.
Actually i was directing that question toward cool.
Haha sorry. Shoulda seen that
Well im gonna agree, im liking the dragonite pic.
When I use to play he was always my favorite
I remember him
Machamp was my favorite, no doubt about it.
How long have you known about this site Face?
Well my first visit was in march, i just liked reading the storygames. I never noticed the forums until about a month ago, I just started following it so I figured I should make an account.
Well a while back I just came for the stories I only made an account so I could save my game. Now I talk a lot
Yeah I always just read the stories, i just got into the forum and so far it seems pretty enjoyable.
I agree the original were the best, i did pick up the newest game just to check it out and it wasn't absolutely terrible.
Well people in pokemon don't age for some reason.
When did u start watching pokemon?
My first pokemon was blue and I still remember thinking It was the best game I've ever played when I was 6. I still think it's a great game. Anyways I'm Joyless and I occasionally post here.
My favourite was the second generation, when Gold and Silver came out, but definitely the original 151 were great as well. Xatu's my favourite overall but out of the original 151 my favourite would probably be... Cubone/Marowak.
Lets see, my favorite is between Charmander and Bulbasaur. I got the firered version first, so I never got to play the originals.
Back when pokemon was cool and not messed up like it is now it was pretty fun
Yeah, now their just milking the series for all the money they can get. They should've ended it at the third generation.
Yeah, im with you there.
Im making sure my nephew knows better now that hes starting to get into it.
yeah, Diamond and Pearl with the Sinnoh region was okay, but pretty 'eck'. The new Unova is just horrible. The plotline is bad and the game is too confusing. I picked up on the Sinnoh pokemon okay, but the Unova is just confusing and they don't even look like pokemon!
I agree with that but I still managed to have fun with the Unova games though.
God, my newest game of them is ruby haha. But yeah, I loved Yellow and currently have a red version, I havn't been able to find my Yellow since I was... I think 11.
I usually played sapphire
I bought Heartgold and used to play it a ton.
I think Lucario is pretty cool but Dragonite wins hands down in my books.
Well that is true, im just not a very big fan of Lucario, thats why i say Dragonite.
They're both awesome pokemon and I wish I had them either in pokemon cards or on the games, but Lucario wins with me. There's just something about him I really appreciate more than Dragonite. Maybe because he can talk and we can understand him. :)
I LOVED the vlad the Impaler V. Sun Tzu episode, but I don't think they did Vlad justice, but then again he is my favorite military commander next to Napoleon, so I may be biased. I mean, he was both brutal and brilliant, even though he was a psycopath. I mean, if it wasn't for him, we would never have Dracula, and then the vampire arche would have never taken off, but that's just a side point, it doesn't affect his skills at all. I love how the Chinese dudes were trying to convince the judges that Vlad's ambushes were just copying Sun Tzu's strategy, and I was like "Dude, Vlad was in Europe at the time fighting what I think were Hungarians (I tried to look it up when I drew a blank, but all I could find was a wikipedia page saying that Vlad was also known as Dracula, so I cleared out haha), so I doubt he even HEARD fo the Chinese, let alone copied their greates strategic mind."
Also, I agree with Ugi, they're modern ones aren't normally that good, although I would have loved to watch the NK v. US episode, but I missed it. And I never like the end fight scenes, especially the modern army 5 V 5 ones, because I can tell you exactly how they end every time -_-
Damn, I don't have spike so I have to watch it from their website days later.
I just watched the 13 min preview of Saddam Hussien vs Pol Pot. My money's is on Saddam Hussien.
Who do you think will win?
Cool, you know where it says 10/9 central. That means that central gets the 9 and eastern gets the 10
9:00 on Wednesdays, but I never remember to see it haha.

NK v. US. This is one of the few modern scenarios I actually liked. I still didn't like the end battle scene, but it was epic how many battles each side won out of 10,000
No, but Napoleon would win every time.
He wasn't good.... because he was way ahead of his time? You do realize that's a compliment right?
1. His enemies were not morons by any means. Most of them, like the Russians, Prussians, English, and Austrians had built huge empires, and it's not exactly easy to do that. Oh, and he also had almost all of Europe, then he went and took over parts of Northern Africa haha. Then you consider the fact that he not only implimented huge strategic breakthroughs, but economic ones as well.
2. Napoleon's forces were so devastating that the major European nations had to get together and REMAKE Europe in order to get everything right again. Borders were redrawn, nations were dissolved, and some nations were made bigger. I still don't think the Prussians ever recovered though.
3.. I really don't know why you are saying he was bad because his enemies were idiots (which wasn't true at all) then you say he was way ahead of his time, which is a compliment. I understand if you think they LOOK like idiots by comparison, because Napoleon was a very smart man (although he had ego issues), but I'm pretty sure that if you take any general from that far in the past and put him in modern times, he'll do horribly.
He deserves the credit because he took over Europe pretty much, invaded Russia and even captured Moscow (I love that he came back almost without an army and was like "eh, it happens",) and thanks to him those "steps" were repeated throughout history... untill people made a gun that didn't require you to stand in a line and shoot at another line. At the time they were revolutionary.
And to think he started as an artillery commander...
You're basically just saying that he doesnt' deserve credit because he was the original person to do something, which is rediculous. That's like saying Genghis Khan Didn't deserve so much credit because other mongols continued to take lands later.
