I recently decided to go ahead and buy a Netflix subscription. Do y’all have any shows or movies you've seen lately that left a strong impression and you'd recommend?

Stranger Things has its ups and downs, but you kind of have to watch it if you have Netflix or they'll come to your house with weapons.

Very well! It keeps popping up in my recommendations. If I remember, maybe I’ll come back here and share my thoughts, if I have any that feel worth posting lol

If we're talking Netflix then Sandman is a surprisingly good adaptation that's faithful when it matters and only really adds random woke stuff where noone truly cares. There's also Cyberpunk Edgerunners if you're a weeb (and even if you're not if you liked the game and/or universe)

He's definitely a weeb.

But this all reminds me I got three months of Disney basically free and two months in have yet to log in, whoops.

Sandman was really good.

Love, Death & Robots is more hits than misses.
If you like Jurassic World, Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous and the second series Chaos Theory is really good.
Snowpiercer is an interesting series.
They Cloned Tyrone is a really weird one, but kind of cool for a conspiracy theory proven real kind of movie.
Don't Look Up is also a good one in that same general vein.
The Wild Robot was kind of a sleeper hit for me. I really liked this one.
All three Denzel Washington Equalizer movies are ok, althought the 2nd is the weaker of the trilogy.
The Six Triple Eight is a remarkably well done true story about the female regiment that clogged the US military mail system during WWII.

Ooh if they have the Wild Robot then seconding that, I saw it a couple of times when it was in theaters. Wouldn't have necessarily suggested it to a guy, but maybe Crimson can watch it with his mom.

And my uncle watches the Equalizer twice a week I swear.

Wild Robot made me cry in the theater, highly recommend.

Check out Dept Q., it's only one season but it's pretty good! It's a random British crime show I saw while scrolling when I was super bored one day.

It's kind of like Will's detective stories in a way, it's about a Scottish detective who solves cold cases and stuff. It's good!
